So what's in the box? Could it be another Cameron model thats not the same one acting as John's bodyguard? Whatever it is has to be either metal or human because it had a message. Jesse said it looked like something right out of hell.

Opening that box was a huge breach in security. Jesse and the crew knew it was for John Connor. You don't snoop around in your commanding generals shipping crate. This isn't the first time a crew broke into a shipping crate. Admiral Nelson was killed at the battle of Trafalgar. His remains, it is said, were put in a cask of rum to preserve them on the voyage back to Britain. Sailors who would do anything for a drink bored a hole in the cask with a gimlet and drew off quantities of the rum through a straw. So many did so that when the body arrived in London the cask was found to be nearly empty. hence the phrase Tapping the Admiral Jesse deserves whatever happens. It's her own fault for violating John's trust and opening the cargo.

I almost wonder if its not a liquid metal terminator in the box. Sure its just speculation, but I figured I'd toss it out there.

The box doesn't look like it could fit a person. Also, it seems like the Resistance soldier is supposed to take the box back alone.

Also, it seems like the Resistance soldier is supposed to take the box back alone. The box doesn't have to fit a person, just roughly a person's body mass, since Liquid Metal T1k's can shape into a solid cube or fill the box's contents. Open the box and it shapeshifts into human form... HOwever we don't know how much liquid metal weighs either, or if its a full humanoid T1k or a derivative of a liquid metal series. Since T1k's can already morph their arms into deadly bladed melee weapons. We won't know for sure but its a valid possibility to keep in mind.

I heard metal on metal in the preview like what you hear when a liquid terminator turns its arms into a blade. It could be a liquid terminator or a TX. I thought the box was big enough for a human or at the very least one in a fetal position.
But if it was so deadly I can't figure out how it had a message for John Connor. A dangerous machines purpose would have been to kill John Connor wouldn't it?
I heard once that the Allison episode was on an aircraft carrier and last nights episode was on a drilling rig. And its obvious suggestive of the dungeon and dragons episode. That was obviously the very same T600.
When you connect the dots it seems very suggestive that some kind of Cameron model will come out of that box. The one from the Allison episode. That the other Cameron model that was with John for a very long time in Jesse's future may have been the Allison terminator Cameron after it was reprogrammed and sent back.
However for the good Cameron to not be aware of what her earlier models programming was before is illogical in the sense that she knew where she was built at the fallout shelter where the Koltan was stored.
Has it been fully verified that the Sub captain is supposed to go rogue? Or is it just speculation?
Sorry if my post is hard to understand. I'm having a hard time putting it down the way it's in my mind.

Liquid metal seems the most likely thing in the box. Could it be Weaver? The box may have kept her in some sort of stasis. Soon as our stupid sailors open the box...

That the sub captain has "gone bad" is only speculation, but this speculation obviously came about because Jesse clearly changed her mind drastically about the use of reprogrammed Terminators.
After "Today is the Day" (part 1), it is clear that the box is what changed Jesse's mind (whatever is in it). The Captain/Terminator was the only one who knew about Connor's orders, and if the whole thing is a Skynet plot from start to finish than he likely was in on it. Did Connor even give those orders, or is it merely an excuse from Terminators in Skynet service to get the box into the Serrano Point base? The other possibility is that only the Terminators in oil platform "went bad", or only whatever is in the box, and that the captain was indeed acting on secret orders from Connor (that didn't turn out well, however, we can safely say). We'll find out next week.
I think Cameron is a one of a kind model, but we'll see.

She is one of a kind but there could be an overlapping of her existence in the future where one is with John Connor while the other is the original on its way to see John Connor. It is also interesting that Jesse is trusting to talk to Cameron about the problem. It may very well be that once Cameron in the future realizes what trouble has been caused from her being sent back to be with John that she is the one that actually sends Jesse back to get John away from herself in the present. Still if Jesse's future has Cameron already with John for 20 years than we have to speculate what happened to the human Allison who John would have recognized in the future because his bodyguard would have looked just like her. Wouldn't he have tried to protect her so the same thing wouldn't happen all over again? Why do I have to be so analytical? Than we have to ask if John is discouraged from putting his faith in machines will he ever reprogram a 101 to send back to help him in the T2 timeline which is consistent with SCC.

The box reminded me of the pilot for Firefly, when they had Summer Glau stuffed into a crate... Not saying that it's Cameron in there, but we at least know she'd fit nicely into a box. ;D
I think that a T1k is the most likely possibility. Jesse said "we opened the box and hell came out." I know that Cameron can be pretty feisty when she gets going, but she's not exactly a calamity.
