This waiting is killing me. Why does Dollhouse info get leaked tonight but not TSCC? AAAAAAaaaaaaaaahhhhhhHHHHHH! I don't get it, seriously. Why is Fox being so coy about it? If they're going to cancel it, freaking announce it already and put us out of our misery. Why do they have to wait to Monday? Are they going to announce the cancellation on Monday, 4 days before Terminator Salvation comes out? That makes no sense. WB would prefer if Fox would announce the cancellation like a month ago if that was the case. I don't understand how there's not been an ounce of leaked rumors for SCC. How is that possible in todays media? ?? I'm pissed off about this, and scc's fate hasn't even been official decided yet. I am going to be a one man army if Fox announces SCC cancellation on Monday.

I'm glad the fan base has returned, stronger than ever. There was a low point (Desert Cantos) when the fans were turning against the show. The posts on the various fan sites were overwhelmingly negative.
Thank goodness the fear of losing TSCC has brought everyone back together. We may criticize it at times, but we all realize it's still the best sci-fi on tv. I think the show has more supporters now then they had during the Christmas hiatus.

It's really not looking good right now. Like many, I'm pissed off that there is zero news about TSCC even as Dollhouse gets renewed. Especially because some sites point out that Dollhouse getting renewed was a big surprise, but it may have to do with the great DVR numbers and the online viewing. And then they manage to not mention TSCC at all (except for one site which was wondering what this means for TSCC).
Cable may still be an alternative, if they can partner with Virgin or another non-US station to help foot the bill. "Dollhouse" reportedly had to take a dramatic budget cut to survive, so the end result for them might not be that good. It remains to be seen if Dollhouse can deliver on a shoestring budget, and same goes for TSCC I suppose.

Guys Dollhouse is a FOX production - it's their own series, they produce it, it's easier for them to put the final details on signing it for S2 as opposed to TSCC which is owned by WB.
WB apparently has fewer moles in their camp than they do w/ people who work directly at Fox.
Nobody knows TSCC's fate. My buddy Randy at The Arnold Fans just talked briefly w/ James Middleton at the T4 premiere and he still has no idea of the show's fate.
The fact that we haven't heard anything yet doesn't mean that it's not getting renewed. It just means that they're likely STILL negotiating, just like they did clear up to the wire for us to get our back 9 for this season.
There are things in our favor:
1) With Keifer's parole thing up in the air, Fox will NEED another recognizable show on their plate if they can't get S8 of 24.
2) Jeep/Chrysler still has a big promotion going on w/ Terminator Salvation - which means THEY still LOVE the franchise.
3) Online support has been HUGE for the show returning - our blasting out the competition in the E!Online poll was a big win.
4) Wired, the New York Post and MANY other distinguished papers have ALL reported that TSCC is the one show that should be given a season 3.
5) Advertisers love our show. Money talks. If Fox can still pull high ad rates for the show, even on Fridays we'll be fine.
Finally - DirecTV is in talks that they're going to see about negotiating deals w/ the networks to let them in on THEIR viewer numbers. DirecTV has been a HUGE sponsor of both TSCC and Bones. They wouldn't sponsor shows that they didn't KNOW were killing in DVR & viewing hits through their service.

Final word from me- do not despair if Fox says no- the CW lineup is in turmoil with word that an expected Gossip Girl spin off is on hold and their schedule is not set. Dawn " I am an Idiot" Ostroff who outsourced Sunday night this year to disastrous results may not have much say in the final look of her schedule should WB step in with TSCC and Chuck ready to go. A lot of grumbling has gone on that the CW made a HUGE mistake not picking up Moonlight and Jericho - this was Dawn's decision and it has cost them big time. If Fox says no- the CW Upfronts aren't until Thursday- so hold on- it may be a bumpy ride and a long tense week ahead!

Josh Friedman and Ashley Miller were in the savethescc chatroom last night (it was way fun!) and Josh said that either TSCC gets renewed by Fox or it's done. He said there won't be a wrap-up movie and it won't move to another network. It's Fox or nothing. So everything is riding on Monday's announcement. Please Fox. Please Fox. Please Fox.

I predict they will go another season riding on the popularity of "Salvation". It may be the last season but I think there will be a third.
But when you look at it we practically got 2 seasons worth of episodes during season 2.
DVD should sell well I would think.

Last Year, Fox waited to the very end of the up fronts to announce a second season of Terminator. My guess is they will do the same this year, regardless of the outcome.

^ Seriously. I think I should just go to bed now and sleep for the next 26 hours to keep me from thinking about it.

It is a surprise that they renewed Dollhouse but it's also very easy for them to pull the plug on it. Tru Calling was renewed for 13 episodes too but they ended up cutting it down to 6 episodes and they didn't even air the last episode.
