FYI, spoilers for Samson and Delilah... Hmm...I have to say it was Catherine Weaver since in Samson and Delilah, you didn't know what her motivations were - I just assumed it was another ambitious yet unknowing high tech CO trying to make what would eventually become Skynet - with the shocking revelation that she was a T-1001, it takes that in a whole new other direction. Skynet is trying to create itself and ensure it's survival in multiple ways, not just by sending out Terminators after John Connor, but stockpilling coltan, and now with Weaver trying to nudge the Turk in what is assumed will be it's fatal, apocalypic direction. Tactically, it's a very smart move on the part of Skynet. And makes me fear for the Connors. When I first saw Shirley morph from a urinal, I just about yelled my fool head off with obsenities. 'OMG, the Connors are f*ucked!' is what came to mind! I can't wait to see if they discover what Catherine is in the back nine and who's going to win the battle for the future - sure will be a tough one to call!

I think Cameron really intrigues me because she's not only a machine she's a trusted and always be there and a cool fighter girl in about I say in 2 seasons so far. John may need her 'cause she needs HIM as well to find out and fight out the other machines and try to stay out of other girls that John loves so much, Cameron is jealous and lonely, I've been there, done that. I really like J. and C. to work as a team, not making out.

I think Catherine Weaver is the most intriguing new character in Season 2. Not much is revealed about her/it or her plans.
Perhaps the best way to describe Weaver, is not with statements but with a series of questions.
What really are Catherine Weaver’s goals? What does she plan to do? She’s got the Turk. So she’s gonna make sure Skynet get’s built. She seems to be overseeing the growth of Skynet. Perhaps making sure it becomes the ultimate computer king that it’s suppose to become. I believe Weaver knows about the Connors. So how come she hasn’t killed or confronted them yet? She can so take out the Connors if she wanted to. The Connors don’t even know that a T-1001 is right next door. They could get ambushed by a surprise attack. What is Weaver waiting for? Does she know something about the future that no one else knows? Not even Derek or Jesse?
What does she care about her relationship with Savannah? It seems like she was trying to establish a real mother-daughter relationship. But what for? Is it more than just a cover? Is she using Savannah for a greater purpose? Is she using the Connors as well? Is that why she hasn’t killed them yet? We know she’s using Ellison.
From T2 we know what a T-1000 is capable of physically. But as a T-1001 how much more advanced is it? We know Weaver is going to be a very hard opponent to beat. Everyone is waiting for the duel between Weaver and the Connors? The T-1000 was already really hard to take down. A T-1001 should be even harder to defeat. And when they fight, we know someone (probably one of the Connor gang) is going to either get hurt badly or even die, even if that means Weaver is destroyed in the process.
I’m looking forward to the rest of Season 2. I’m crossing my fingers for a Season 3. I’m hoping that at least by the end of Season 2 the Connors and Weaver will meet face to face.

I like characters that keep me guessing, and Catherine Weaver fits that description. We tend to assume she's working with Skynet, but she seems to have her own agenda. It seems she's also the first Terminator sent back with a mission besides killing people.
She's using the Turk to accomplish something. Is it Skynet? It certainly appears to be, but we could be wrong. She's also able to persuade Ellison to aid her in her endeavor, thus making him do the "devil's work." I can't imagine how she'll be defeated, but I look forward to the final confrontation. She's intelligent and manipulative, but you're continually reminded that she is less than human. Perhaps more than a machine, but always less than human.

Wow, which character intrigues me? That's a serious toss up between Catherine Weaver and Jesse. But I'll say Jesse.
Jesse, really?? You might ask. Jesse in the past is so unlike Jesse in the future. I like Future Jesse, or atleast Derek's memory of Jesse. She's cool, she's edgy, and she's not a conniving bitch like Jesse in the past. She has me seriously intrigued at what exactly happened to make her so cold-hearted that she'll ruin and manipulate a young girl, manipulate a man she supposedly loves, and betray the leader of the Resistance when he's only 16 years old. Yeah, she said a Termie went bad and took out half a bunker but that one time she's going to find the ways and resources to travel back through time?
What's her story? She's from Australia, why is she really underneath John Connor's lead anyway? She makes runs on the sub, why doesn't she go back on it?
So yeah, Jesse definitely intrigues me and I'm curious to see where her story-arc ends up.

I would go with Cameron's human counterpart in the future. That episode was freaky and intense, and I really want to know more of her story and why Cameron has her memories jumbled around on her CPU.

I would have to say probably Cameron (Summer) to be absolutely honest I think Erika already clarified this but the question is asking for a NEW season TWO character. In other words, someone we just met in Season 2. Cameron is not an option.

Through out it all it has always been Sarah...No matter how hard it is she's always fighting for what's right...She fully understands that all her fighting and pushing might drive John away but it's a decision that she willingly makes everyday to keep John alive and help him complete his mission to save the world

For a second season character, it would definitely have to be Catherine Weaver! What's her angle? What's her ultimate mission? And why "infiltrate" the way she has rather than just kill everyone in her way like most any other Terminator would?
Overall, it's still and always will be Sarah Connor. I'm totally intrigued by this character and how she goes about navigating what comes at her.
