I'm gonna have to go with Riley considering the fact the show's producers sold her role so well. They told us time and time again that she wasn't a terminator or from the future, she was just a normal, every day, down to earth type of girl. Yet, as the season progressed you started to get this vibe that she wasn't who she was made out to be. Plus, all throughout the first half of the season they dropped subtle clues as to what she was really doing here. I think once you found out she was part of Jesse's plan, it really brought her character full circle and added a new, yet intriguing element to the show.
See, the thing with Riley is, her character is now a major key to this show. You can go so many different directions with how to handle her situation. I think her character is vastly underrated since we still don't have a full grasp on what her purpose is. Oh, and what is to come of her suicide attempt? Was it that she couldn't handle the pressure or does she have a legitamite chemical imbalance? Does she really love John now or is she there to corrupt his thoughts and put a swerve in his development?
As interesting as Catherine and Jesse are... I think Riley takes the cake for the most interesting character. She did a complete 180 in going from being this nice, pretty, happy-go-lucky girl to being part of what seems to be a diabalicol plan. There's so many new dimensions to her character that you can continue to build endless plots off of her development.

With regards to S2, I'd have to say the most intriguing character to me is John Henry. Is he the preemie skynet, or just another failed attempt? Or maybe I've got it all wrong and Weaver isn't on an antagonistic mission at all....could she use John Henry to help? What about Ellison's interaction with John Henry; could this relationship negatively or positively affect the development of what could one day be skynet?
All in all, I have so many more questions and interest into what comprises John Henry that I have to vote him the most intriguing S2 character for me.

I think Savannah is one of season 2's more intriguing characters. Her situation and back story are still clouded in mystery. I can easily imagine her parents leaving on a business trip and this thing that looks like her mom returns. Children are extremely perceptive and I'm sure Savannah saw through the deception immediately. The horror of losing both parents must be overwhelming for the little girl. Yet, this thing that looks like mom is her only source of support and protection. The T-1000 is Savannah's only link to her mother. She will gradually bond with this creature because she has no one else to turn too.
I find myself wondering what will happen to Savannah. Will the T-1000 simply abandon her after the mission is over? Maybe Catherine Weaver will bond with Savannah? A situation similar to Uncle Bob & John in T2. I'm excited by the possibilities of seeing this connection between humanity and machine explored further. The mother & daughter relationship is very compelling. I'd be very interested in seeing Catherine Weaver's reaction if she did get more attached to Savannah. How would she react if the child was sick with the flu? Would she try to imitate a caring mother's response? Catherine Weaver's character could easily become very conflicted by this connection to a child and her mission objectives.
I'd like to see more scenes with Savannah and Catherine Weaver. I've seen her in one preview with John Henry. I'm hoping we'll see Savannah in at least a couple more episodes. She can give us a very unique viewpoint of the machines.

Which New Season 2 Character most intrigues you? Ummmm......... I would have to say probably Cameron (Summer) to be absolutely honest I think Erika already clarified this but the question is asking for a NEW season TWO character. In other words, someone we just met in Season 2. Cameron is not an option. I'm sorry for not reading the instructions, Schmacky. Okay, favorite S2 character........ Would Derek count? If not, I would choose Weaver.

Season 2 introduced 6 semi-regular characters. Kacy, Jesse, Riley, Catherine Weaver, Savannah and John Henry.

Yeah I have to go with Jesse. She's definitely something mysterious. Her motives are always under suspicion and rhere is always the feeling that she is not what she seems.

To think in an "out-of-the-box" way, I would say that John Connor is my favorite season 2 character. I know he's always been there, but it really feels like he is a "new" character this season. In my opinion, season 1 John would not have been so open with anyone the way he is with Riley...which might end up screwing him over anyway (Mom is always right). And besides, with the haircut, he DOES look like a whole new person!
In a non "out-of-the-box" way, I'm going to have to say Kacy. Although, she doesn't give that much to the actual plot of the show, I'm still interested in seeing that buddy-buddy friendship between her and Sarah. I think it could do both women some good. I really hope we follow her character more as the show progresses.

I'd have to say Catherine Weaver, the more and more her character is "fleshed out" the more mysterious her true intentions become. You can't get a real idea as to what she ultimately wants. I'm interested in seeing how trying to raise a human child is going to effect her mission.

Catherine Weaver. All of the other terminators who have come back have had an agenda. We know hers is to build an artificial intelligent machine, but we don't know why or whose side she's on. She could be trying build SkyNet. But for what purpose? To make a better killing machine or to prevent the war? And how will teaching it morality affect its later actions?
Seeing her with Savannah has been interesting too. Maybe it will change her. We've seen that terminators can learn and possibly even reject their programming. Could she develop a "maternal instinct" or is she only capable of emulating these emotions?

The character Winston, who was named after Stan Winston, in the last episode is a mystery. I know we'll hear more about him because he was killed off way too easy. We'll get flashbacks of him or something I'm sure!

I would go with Catherine Weaver, as the character has a very interesting ambiguity to her. I know that she is ruthless and will take any action necessary to achieve her goals, and it seems that she is trying to create Skynet through the Turk. However, I have no idea about her actual agenda, though I have to suspect that it is something more complicated than simply creating the same Skynet that created her. I look forward to learning more about her motivations in the remaining season 2 episodes!

the most intriguing character to me is riley. flat out, i didn't care for her character AT ALL, when she was introduced - but i've been surprised and intrigued by the turn her storyline has taken with her involvement with jesse in regards to her 'past' in the 'future'. i definitely didn't expect to be invested in her storyline, but as the back 9 approaches, i am definitely excited to see how her 'suicide' will play out and where the chips will fall when the truth comes out about her past.
