Schmacky - I like that one. Had me in giggles when I was reading the opening statement. Particularly liked the mother/father/sister bits.

This was a quick one. Everybody needs somebody to lean on.... featuring Sarah, John, Derek, Kyle, Wisher, Charley, Kacey, Riley, Jesse, Doc Sherman, Ellison, Marty, Lauren, and I think that's it. Sorry, no Cameron.. this is a Human thing Please let me know what you think either here on leave a comment on youtube. I'd appreciate it. Thanks

Schmacky - saw this one on YouTube hours ago and have been waiting for you to post on it here so I could comment. Firstly, I must compliment you on your character usage. When I saw the title and saw "ensemble", I was thinking core four and think no way would it really suit. I love the usage of so many characters and so many circumstance. Really gives it a expansive, inclusive feeling that works well with the song. You used some beautiful imagery - show really does give a lot to work with on the "pain and sorrow" side, doesn't it? Love, love love, your first match with "lean on me" - I love that scene in general, and just works great. That is leaning, that's just perfect for the song. I love John & Sarah, and that's just one of the best, and so representative of one leaning on the other and how much they need each other. We'll get the reverse later, with her there for him, and it's grand, too. Loving Kyle and the photo, too. I think it does help him carry on. I was surprised to see Sarah with her hand outstretched for Ellison, but it suits the subject matter. I like the follow up with Ellison and we get to see a minor character there with him, and that's good too. And I do really, really like the scene with Charley and John, because that is exactly what that scene is. I mean, there, in particular, John even sought out Charley to offer comfort and support. Later we get to see Derek and Kyle together for the "brother" line, which is great. Obvious choice, but there's none better - which is what makes it obvious. Here the beat is picking up some and so are the clips - a bit more optimistic for this section, happier and such. For a couple of clips, anyway. Liked Jesse and Derek there - that's a good choice, especially those scenes, that episode, because of the circumstances there. Liked seeing Kacy, too, especially on the friend line (I do so hope we get to see her again in the show, soon). With Riley on the "carry on" line, I couldn't help but wonder what kind of footage we might have after hiatus (I'm cautiously optimistic). Again on the minor characters - I liked seeing Dr. Sherman. Loved seeing the future shot and the way it looked and everything at 2:37. I'm a bit giggly on the "right up the road" and using their neighbor. So literal - and I'm easily amused. The ending shot is a little odd to me. I'd thought it would end with an ensemble shot or with with two out three for Sarah, John and Derek. Or with Derek and Kyle. Was a little surprised to see a one-shot character there. Especially with that expression Sarah's face; she just looks so confused or processing or something. Love some insight into what made that one your choice. Anyway, all around a fabulous vid, as usual.

Thank you so much for your comments.
The real reason I ended with that shot is because my editing program was pissing me off. No joke, every 45 seconds it would shut down on me. I tried restarting the comp, coming back to it a day later.. it was just maddening. I was so close to finishing and it was being such an ass that I just ended it. Now that it's all done I probably would have ended it with the four main characters at the table at the end of Mousetrap. However, I do like that shot of Marty hugging Sarah and her being all uncomfortable with it. Like it's obviously been stated, everybody needs somebody but sometimes being that "somebody" is awkward and uncomfortable but you do it anyway... because someone needs you. It's like the unwritten code of human nature to help our your fellow man even if it puts you out a bit (although there are quite a few people do not actually follow this code unfortunately).
I'm glad that you picked up on Kyle and the photo and that Kyle really did lean on Sarah even though they had never met. Everybody needs to grab onto something to help them get through it and for him, it was really that photo.

Awww that Lean on me Video is AWESOME! You picked some truly clever footage to use, I really liked Riley leaning her chin on John's shoulder right when it said "lean on me." Wonderful collection of clips of all sorts of different characters in the show. Lovely job - Karma! Ok I just went through your other 2 vids too. Crazy Sarah was just awesome - but I have to say that this one takes the cake, I was totally laughing throughout it, clever, clever, and totally hysterical: Any chance I can post them on the main site?

He is the savior of mankind, the leader of the Resistance. She is his mother, a legend. The song is on the TSCC soundtrack and it had to be part of a fanvid.

This mainly focuses on Sarah and Derek with other folks mixed in. They fight for the future. They fight for the people. They fight to preserve today. They'll always fight. They'll always be there.
