Yeah, I don't understand how they'd get all the way up there myself. OTOH, she doesn't mind walking into police HQ with a phony ID to get Derek out, so who knows? She's crazy, remember?

Yep looks like your right santana.Seems like it's in the future.I wonder if Derek sleeps with that jacket on it's never off him. It's probably a force of habit,in the future they would need to be fully kitted up cos they may get called out straight away so they would need their stuff with them at all times,so Derek probably wears to remind him of home and Kyle and to conceal his weapon.
This is kinda OT but who wants to see John ride around on dirtbike like in T2.I think it would be a pretty good little callback to T2.He should just encounter a terminator by himself and with no interference from Sarah,Derek or Cameron he should destroy it himself. The dirtbike and terminator could be in the same episode with him running away from one then destroying it.

John should also hack an ATM and make friends with a red headed kid.

Good call on Derek's jacket. Almost like a post traumatic stress disorder. I never thought about it that way. You're probably right.

Ah cool thanks.I only really picked up on it cos i live with my uncle Will and he is a vet from the iraqi war (this one and not the one from the 90's) and he always wears his friends jacket to commerate his friend. He does actually have PTSD and the thousand yard stare. It kinda freaks me out sometimes with the stare.Sometimes he just zones out like Derek and it's hard to snap him back into reality.Me and my uncles and aunts (I have 4 uncles Will,Sam,Pete and Chris and 2 aunts Claire and Jennifer) try to talk to him about it but he just doesn't answer. We dont push him to tell us cos we don't want him to snap and do something crazy. It hurts to see him like this and i wanna help him.

There is a lot of great resources out there for Vets

It'll be a pretty big risk for Sarah to get on an airplane. She's definitely on the no fly list. The new Jumbo jets literally fly themselves under computer control. The pilot is mostly there as a backup. This could be Skynets chance to finally get Sarah. I'm just joshing around. Still, it would make good fan fic.

I would like to see John do some more hacking like he did in "Vic's Chip". I suspect his hacking skills and AI knowledge are critical to the future war effort. I mean, one way to find "The Turk" would be to hack all the AI company networks - including, eventually, Zeira Corp. Not that the secret "Babylon project" would be on the company's Web site, but he might get clues from the personnel list - like the main AI guy at Zeira going missing...that would end up in the press eventually. But only a company with AI capabilities would be interested in "The Turk" - and there aren't THAT many big AI companies around. Sarah really wasted her time with Dekara - a startup with two main employees? Sure, John said it always starts small, but if they start chasing every startup involved with AI, they'll be there well past Judgment Day. They should concentrate on larger companies. They should also be following Ellison around. Do they think he just fell off the Earth after Mexico? Shouldn't they be interested in what he's doing in regard to this stuff? First, John assumes he took Cromartie, then when he doesn't admit it, John believes him. But then Cameron searches his yard anyway. They don't simply follow him to Zeira Corp's building - hey, BIG AI COMPANY! LOOK AT THAT! MAYBE WE SHOULD CARE! You gotta wonder about the Connors - a lot...

The Connors have been making questionable decisions since season 1. Cameron needs set them straight. At least Uncle Bob gave advice even though he had absolutely no authority.

Easier said than done, contrary to popular belief hacking (cracking if you prefer) networks is not as easy as it's often portrayed in Hollywood. Any genuine attempt to remote access a restricted network is a great way of getting yourself noticed not only by said companies I.T. security department, but also the FBI and quite possibly, the NSA. Either way, for the Connors to attempt to start snooping around various companies Servers is just asking for the Black Pyjama boys to kick your front door in at six in the morning.....and don't even get me started on how easy it is to apparently just walk in off the street in LA and pinch a companies hard drive.

Schmacky we've asked him to get some help but he won't listen. It's like he doesn't care no more.
Saw the new clips of this episode and it seems like the resistance have a submarine commandered by a triple 8.Actually i may have heard it wrong and Jesse may have said that skynet have a submarine and not the resistance.

I heard the Resistance has it and the T is commanding it since ya know, perhaps no submarine commanders made it pass J-Day or whatever.
And that probably explains why an Aussie is in LA w/o having been on holiday before JD

It is not that hard, either. Of course it depends on the specific network's security, but mostly it takes just time. And if you have compromised enough insecure servers (easy to find on the internet) and have full control over them, it's nearly impossible to follow your trail. And you can automate a lot of processes by writing tools (like something to overload the router's logs with fake packets).
