Different Jeep, I think, Twilight. The Jeep they hot wired in GS looked like an old Wagoneer. The one that went boom was a 2007 Wrangler. I think. From a covert perspective, Sarah would need a vehicle that's registration matched her licence in case of traffic stops, wouldn't she? A That's if Enrique's nephew followed through on said details accurately. Either way she would want all of them to stay off the radar.

If the Jeep is valid under her current identity she's safe in the event of a routine traffic stop. But that also means that if the license plate number is noticed while she's using the Jeep for stuff like breaking Derek from a prison transport, it would lead the cops and feds right to her door. I don't know which is the better way to go.

Maybe it's registered to a dummy corporation.
Today in hysterical coincidences:
So, I'm working on the introduction to my masters' thesis (because apparently "here, read this, dude" is not an appropriate way to approach your extern - especially if he's one of those poncy bastards from the Wilde School - wankers) and I'm reading an article titled "the Matrix of War" about martial tropes, sexuality and the place of women in the heroic tradition of western lit, which starts with an examination of Samson and Delilah (Delilah wasn't the one who cut Samson's hair btw that was nameless Philistine #1) and the cutting of hair as a metaphor for impotence.
According to Nancy Huston, "cutting off a young soldiers' hair... signifies, first of all to the recruits themselves, and then to their civilian audience, that male sexuality is the Army is rigourously controlled, not to say eliminated, with the evident intention of increasing the soldiers' capacity for murder, that is, of diverting energy that would have been directed towards (against?) women and directing it towards (against) enemy troops."
She concludes that the "crucial message of the Samson and Delilah story has nothing to do with hair, but rather with the equivalence between a man's libido and his ability to kill."
Given the promos of John picking up a gun, cutting his hair and the rumours that John and Sarah would fall out over a potential girlfriend for John, I found myself highly diverted in the middle of what was an otherwise rather dry bit of literary exegesis.
That said, you turn all this on its head and look at John and Cameron (and in the case of a terminator where the source of their strength, their control chips, are literally found under their hair), as hero-figures (both the product of "miraculous births") who are potentially undermined and endangered by "love" - in John's case, presumably with the effect of making him careless; in Cameron's an emotional development would both potentially make her more dangerous but could also lead to a development of a moral appreciation that undermines her terminator-ruthlessness and, as a result, her effectiveness as John's (and possibly Sarah's) protector.
Here endeth the lecture....

No, don't say that! Once Sarkissian is out of the picture, they can settle back in. Dude, the Jeep exploded. I don't care how tough North Hollywood is, things like that get noticed. But most of the police in Southern California are going to be quite busy trying to track down a suspect who was involved in the biggest massacre of law enforcement officers since 1984.

Electrocuting Cameron seems the most likely scenario..... You'd think a machine as advanced as a Terminator would be able to recognise an exposed lead, after all if aprentice sparkies can avoid making that sort of fopar then it shouldn't be that hard for an advanced cybernetic organism.

Could be wanting to be exposed ala Robocop 2 causing a system reboot.

Electroshock therapy. I'm reminded of Bender on Futurama getting his kicks off that kind of action.
