Fox only renewed Dollhouse to save face and not live up to their reputation. I don't even know what to say about SCC. I'm done with FOX. Not in a vindictive way... there's just nothing on FOX anymore that I watch. Not much of saving face. They paired it with sitcoms on a Friday. Dollhouse is doomed next fall. I'd be surprised if they even get all 13 episodes aired. They are saving face. Because even though Dollhouse will tank. And it will Reilly will still say "Oh but we tried." Like this BS he's saying with SCC.

This totally sucks. They had to do this mere days before T4 comes out? They couldn't have gotten it out of the way earlier since it seems they knew they weren't greenlighting a third season? Bleh! And given Josh's comments about how the show would just be done if FOX cancelled it dashes my long-shot hopes of the show going to another network.

Ash posted on his twitter account that he was going to be a writer on Fringe next season.
If you still want to screw Fox over, and support Ash, watch Fringe via torrent.

I get the cancellation. I mean lets face it... Did they really try? No, not nearly. But the show had its chances. It's really the fault of the millions of morons with no taste.
What I don't get is this treatment. When even the producers on the show know nothing until *wham* "Here is the schedule." Did you really have to drag our hopes through the mud FOX?

Word from Kevin Reilly: Here's what Fox Entertainment President Kevin Reilly had to say about its cancellation.
"We had to make some choices on the matter and if you look at ratings track on Friday and that trend line was not pointing in the right direction," says Reilly. "We had a huge launch of the show, gave it a lot of support and some consistent scheduling, but it was time to move on."
And why the network picked DOLLHOUSE over TERMINATOR?
"Terminator has completed its run," says Reilly. "It was a good show. We saw it trailing off. Ultimately we bet on DOLLHOUSE for the night. So that’s it for TERMINATOR."ifmagazine.com/new.asp?article=8039

Josh surprised me with that statement last weekend. I understand a movie isn't an option (they already have a movie franchise). But, not even trying to sell the show somewhere else. There's so many good channels like FX or Sci-Fi that would be fantastic. Spike might even be an option. They run a lot of Star Trek stuff. Sarah Connor died today. It really is over for the grand old gal. The movie franchise killed her off a long, long time ago.

^^^ I think Dollhouse will ultimately loose that bet.
Next fall, Dollhouse fans will be in the same shoes as we are today.
Shame on FOX.

I never thought I'd be saying this - but I'm now looking at ABC for my new sci-fi programming fixes. God help me I refuse to get hooked on any of them though, they're worse than Fox for renewing stuff.

Kevin Reilly didn't even mention any of the Fan Support that poured in for the show. At least give us that much.
He comes off as a pompous ass in his statements.

Yes. I'll be watching V for nostalgia's sake and for Elizabeth Mitchell, among others. And Flash Forward seems interesting from the promos but yeah, I don't trust ABC much either.
So is Josh going to make any sort of comment?

It's unlikely for "Dollhouse" to get the full 13 episodes.
Renewing "Til Death" was an idiotic decision because they're still more than two seasons away from syndication and the cast has been having troubles ever since the beginning. The show will break apart internally before they can get to 100 episodes.
They're not shopping TSCC around because that never works. Only a handful of shows have ever gone from one network to another after cancellation. There's Buffy, Scrubs, The PJ's, and that's about it. SG1 switched networks too but that was a completely different story. It was a success for both Showtime and Sci-Fi. Showtime only ended its association with SG1 after Sci-Fi made a huge investment in the show.

So is Josh going to make any sort of comment? Yes, WB asked him to write two press releases. One if it was canceled. And, the other if it was renewed. He said he didn't write either one yet, because he wanted to let the situation of Fox's decision sink in before expressing his thoughts.

I don't know what to do with myself. I've never been through this kind of thing before. Once I get over the sadness, I'll write my way out of this thing. But right now, I'm just a big ol' mess of emotions.
