Oops - gotcha. I'd say Dr. Silberman then - Bruce Davidson is out of a job, he'd be available to return.

I'm hoping for Terminator Carter since Kristina is apparently contracted to the CW.
We already have Kyle Reese in flashbacks, it will get stale if we keep revisiting characters that are already from the film's mythology. Quit lookin' in the rearview mirror.
There's endless possibilites with Carter.

Carter doesn't have to switch himself. Remember the Terminator in "Goodbye to All That" was programmed to hit Bedell as his primary mission, but the instant John revealed himself, John became the target. ALL the Terminators have as their permanent mission the killing of John Connor, if the opportunity reveals itself. Cameron said so in season one, episode two. And Carter obviously could reason that the only people who could have subverted his coltan mission was the Connors, even if he didn't explicitly know it at the time. Obviously he knows Cameron was a Terminator, and could deduce the woman and boy interfering with him were the Connors.
So he could easily switch his mission from securing the coltan to hunting John.

I'm still hoping for Cheri.
No one knows the contract stipulations for Kristina, so I wouldn't rule her out appearing again on this show, especially if it's for an episode or two.
So yeah, I'm hoping for Cheri first, followed by Carter.

Cameron owes Morris a date to the prom. Time to put on those dancing shoes.

Dr. Silberman is locked up. That storyline is a dead end. -- Dyson would be rather stale, IMO. This show is its own thing now. I'd rather it not bring any more film elements into it. I guess episode 14 is going to be rather stale than. MODE EDIT: Consecutive posts combined.

Not really. I don't mind Kyle returning in a "dream" concept. As long as it doesn't turn into overkill, which it won't.

I would also rather have Cheri return (probably would have Morris return as well then, should they decide to more or less revive that storyline), because it is a loose end and we should get some kind of closure if at all possible.
The actress being contracted on another show seems to make it unlikely, but I guess they don't film all year long on that series so she could possibly do a few episodes on another show in-between, if her contract lets her do that. Anybody knows if the actor playing Morris might be available?
Carter would be a good comeback to, another Terminator without the need for more timetravel.
Silberman - maybe he could have some information, if he has collected info about AI and such during his retirement years. He would have to be busted out of Pescadero, though.
All in all, there seems to be much to look forward to in the coming 9 eps.

Poor Chola, she's got just one vote. Let's give her some credit for the flawless ID's they never got to use and for delivering the instructions they never followed... Er... OK, at least let's give her some credit for having a nice voice! ;D

I would love to see mute chola again, but I doubt we will. I voted Terissa, but I'm actually hoping we'll see Danny Dyson at some point. If he doesn't ever become a player in all this, I'll be disappointed. ^ Looks like I wanted to see Chola, but didn't expect to. And look at me calling for Danny Dyson to be a player in the story at some point

I'd like to see Cheri is season 3, although I have no clue how'd they fit that in. I wish josh would just tell us what her deal was, if he doesn't intend on continuing that plot.
I really liked the HS plotline. It was fun trying to see John fit in, and Cameron and her social quirks.

Josh Friedman said they weren't going back to that. So forget about Cheri. She's long gone.

I cannot possibly think of a way they could go back to it even if they wanted. It would make no sense.

Cheri is probably the same character that Riley eventually turned out to be. I would've liked to see Cameron at the prom though
