I just read this right before I came here and saw you posted it and OMG I freaked out too.
I really do hope he will get kicked out of directing any other movies once the franchise sells.
I'm freaking TERRIFIED of what he would do to Sarah Connor. And really.. how would they do that? Would it be a way older Sarah Connor and have Linda Hamilton reprise her role? Or a younger Sarah and go with a completely new actress. It'd be cool if they had Lena do it but I seriously doubt it. I think if they did that it would confuse people even more between how the later movies and show do not go together. But damnit! I want to see Lena!Sarah again! And I'm scared of anyone other than Lena or Linda to take on Sarah.

I didn't freak out so much as want to smile and pat him on the head like I would any other pathetic, disillusioned little manchild. I have no clue whether he's contracted for more or just blithely assumes that the franchise is now his to run into ruin... Do you think he even knows that - in his version - Sarah's actually dead? Or do you think he got all confuddled by the one episode of TSCC he bothered to watch? I'd love to see Lena as Sarah again, but not in anything with McG's grubby little paw prints on it. I mean, Salvation had some awesome female characters and it really upheld the standards set by the first two movies... oh wait, no it didn't. It was awful in that regard too. I can't see any new franchise owners wanting to muddy the waters between TV show and movies. I can - OTOH - absolutely see McG involving Sarah at some point and making a complete mess of that as well. It seems to be some kind of bizarre talent that the man has...

No. Just NO. Absolutely not. No. No. NO. NO. NO!
I'd be shocked if anyone ever let McG get near Terminator again, but even if someone else were directing, I DO NOT want Sarah Connor revived for some shitty future war action movie that masquerades as a Terminator film. frak that.

No. Just NO. Absolutely not. No. No. NO. NO. NO! So, you're all for it then? So say we all. He'd probably pull a Marcus and resurrect her as half-metal. Just cos it'd be all ironic 'n' dead clever. <shudders>

LOL. Heart transplants in the middle of a desert with all that sand blowing into the open chest... No one would ever be stoopid enough to write something as crappy as that... <thinks>... oh... wait a minute...

Um. Wow...
Does McG know something we don't know? Coz his plans are pretty darn amazing.
