littlebAh, I'd love to see what you could pull off! Hope you find some time. Unfortunately, it looks unlikely with working 10-14 hour days lately. But maybe when I'm back in the homeland I'll be able to work on it (on Christmas Eve).

I've been Christmas shopping and here's what I got for everyone: Sarah- Fallout shelter - She's gonna need it! - 1-year supply of MREs - Even if she averts j-day, these might be better than her pancakes, burned roasts or PB&J. - Tequila - I think she'll need to get wasted after she gets out of Zeira and the realization hits her that John is really gone. John- Einstein Chess Set - He's going to need something to distract him from future war. - Crunchy Cheetos - A boy's gotta eat. - Ruby slippers - So he can find his way home again. Cameron- Telescoping mirror - She should check for bombs before getting into a vehicle. - Terminator sunglasses - It's either this or an eye patch, right? - Foosball table - In case she thinks she's Allison after Sarah puts her chip back in Ellison- Dunce cap - For obvious reasons. - Lump of coal - I'd throw away the gift bag first (he only gets the coal).

LMAO. Nice one. I think we can add number two million sunblock to the list for all those apocalyptic emergencies! As for Christmas dinner being at a nice Chinese restaurant... Advantage: Sarah's not cremating the roast. Disadvantage: the last attempt to dine out for a celebratory meal ended well for exactly no one. Maybe it's safer to stay in and maybe, in that case, a nice bottle of Pepto-Bismol should be in everyone's stocking!

But if Cam's already got her telescoping mirror they can make sure the Jeep is safe to drive to the restaurant. In case you guys didn't get the Chinese restaurant reference, it's from A Christmas Story. They go out to eat on Thanksgiving after the turkey gets ruined and the Chinese restaurant is the only place open. Hehehehhe.....the Man of Faith gets the coal. He's lucky he even gets that!

Very nice, very talented, and accommodating friends FTW! \o/
And, LOL, I'm guessing folks aren't fans of Ellison here. ROFL.
Random thought as my break ends: I wonder how the Connors would take it if Kaci (or h/e her name is spelled) gifted them with a Roomba for Xmas. LOL!

think we can add number two million sunblock to the list for all those apocalyptic emergencies! Two million sunblock... yes! ;D Hee. You just know I had to check the T2 transcript to find out exactly what number sunblock was required Cos I am nothing if not all about the accuracy. Disadvantage: the last attempt to dine out for a celebratory meal ended well for exactly no one. Hmm true. They go out to eat on Thanksgiving after the turkey gets ruined and the Chinese restaurant is the only place open. I didn't get the ref, I have no clue what A Christmas Story is... I'm guessing it might be a Yank tradition... It's not that movie that gets played constantly on a loop on one channel at xmas is it? Cos I read something about that recently... or you told me. I forget. I have shift-dementia. Hehehehhe.....the Man of Faith gets the coal. He's lucky he even gets that! Damn straight. He's not having it wrapped though. He's just getting the coal <plonks on Ellison's lap> There you go. Merry Christmas. Very nice, very talented, and accommodating friends FTW! \o/ Heh, we do our best. And, LOL, I'm guessing folks aren't fans of Ellison here. ROFL. I liked the man till S2 turned him into a duplicitous idiot. Then, not so much. Random thought as my break ends: I wonder how the Connors would take it if Kaci (or h/e her name is spelled) gifted them with a Roomba for Xmas. LOL! <laughs> I had to google that! I thought it was some weird kind of dance (like a rhumba but requiring more space!) Maybe Cameron would treat it like a pet... I love that scene with her in Queen's Gambit when she sees the robot at the convention, and the fact that even the robot dog barks at her. That was genius.

littleb - It's a Wonderful Life is the movie that is played on repeat throughout the holidays in the US. Though not nearly as much any more. I remember there being some kind of licensing thing or something where they had to cut back on airings. Here's the scene from A Christmas Story: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTq20prt0K8

You just know I had to check the T2 transcript to find out exactly what number sunblock was required And you call yourself a fan?! I didn't get the ref, I have no clue what A Christmas Story is... Here's the scene from A Christmas Story: www.youtube.com/watch?v=xTq20prt0K8It's a Wonderful Life definitely gets a lot of play around Christmas time and has for decades, but TNT actually airs a 24-hour loop of A Christmas Story every year, starting on Christmas eve and ending Christmas night. Such a fun movie. It's nice that it's become part of the American Christmas tradition (and also very cool that one network could make it so). And, LOL, I'm guessing folks aren't fans of Ellison here. ROFL. Damn straight. He's not having it wrapped though. He's just getting the coal <plonks on Ellison's lap> There you go. Merry Christmas. I liked the man till S2 turned him into a duplicitous idiot. Then, not so much. Yeah, I wouldn't give coal to season 1 Ellison. Season 2, Ellison, however... he's on the naughty list (I checked it twice). Random thought as my break ends: I wonder how the Connors would take it if Kaci (or h/e her name is spelled) gifted them with a Roomba for Xmas. LOL! <laughs> I had to google that! What kind of primitive people are you? heh. I had a Roomba years ago, but it didn't like the fringe on the edge of the rugs I had then. It was pretty cool, though. Merry Christmas!

You just know I had to check the T2 transcript to find out exactly what number sunblock was required And you call yourself a fan?! <laughs> I remembered the sunblock, it's exact factor escaped me! Wonder if Sarah has a pair of these: to go with it...? It's a Wonderful Life definitely gets a lot of play around Christmas time and has for decades, but TNT actually airs a 24-hour loop of A Christmas Story every year, starting on Christmas eve and ending Christmas night. Such a fun movie. It's nice that it's become part of the American Christmas tradition (and also very cool that one network could make it so). Ahh, it must've been you who told me about it! Don't you also have the burning logs channel? The one where you can pretend that your TV is a fire place?! Genuis. Surprised it hasn't caught on and been developed into other ideas - aquariums for example... no need for real fish, just watch the Live Fish Swimming channel! You're gonna tell me you already have one of those, aren't you? I liked the man till S2 turned him into a duplicitous idiot. Then, not so much. Yeah, I wouldn't give coal to season 1 Ellison. Season 2, Ellison, however... he's on the naughty list (I checked it twice). S1 Ellison was fine. He could've had socks or underwear, no problems. Maybe a nice silk tie. S2... coal, a snake (to put in the grass) or a dunce's hat. Or all three, in case he's too stupid to get the message first time out! No Roombas in the UK? What kind of primitive people are you? heh. I had a Roomba years ago, but it didn't like the fringe on the edge of the rugs I had then. It was pretty cool, though. No. I don't think we have them over here. We do it the old fashioned way and use a little bit of muscle! But then, we don't have Baconnaise either, so I'm thinking it's not a bad thing that all your inventions don't cross the pond! Two days to go! So excited ;D
