The ‘Sarah Connor Chronicles’ star will be on hand for signings and more! If killer robot Terminators all looked as good as Summer Glau, then we’d be running with open arms towards Judgment Day. But till that mushroom-clouded day comes, your best chance of meeting the actress who plays the arousing automaton on “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” will be at Wizard World Los Angeles on Saturday, March 15. Glau will be on hand for special signings and more at the LA Convention Center! Wizard World LA runs from March 14 through March 16, check out www.wizardworld.com for more details. “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” was Fox’s most watched scripted premiere since the year 2000. Check out some of Wizard Universe’s coverage on the show with our interviews of producer and writer Josh Freidman, special effects supervisor Jim Lima and actor Brendan Hines.

I just ordered my tickets today. Also got the Summer Glau Premium package, which includes 2 8x10s for signing. I will bring my camera and hopefully get pics, as well as report back with any info. I can't wait

Do Convention Guests usually take pictures with fans or no? I'm guessing Autographs and a handshake only, but a picture with Summer would be

If you ask and are able to do so she would probably grin in a pic with you. I got pics of me w/ her and Lena at the premiere party. Some actors/actresses don't allow it. I know that Carrie Fisher doesn't, but Summer's usually quite good about it.

That would be amazing, but my guess is they would get real tired real quick of getting up from behind wherever they are sitting for autos. But just in case, I'll be ready

[Gary] It was great fun. The pictures don't really do her justice. She's very beautiful in person. And looks so young.
And she was happy to pose for a picture with anyone who asked. I didn't ask her, I just had her autograph the four prints and also asked her to personalize them for me, which of course she did gladly. So nice.
She had no news about the second season of Terminator but said everyone was hoping it works out with FOX so they could make one.
I sure hope she does something else here in Los Angeles before long, something that I can attend.
She is so charming..... it was amazing....

Gary, Glad to see you on the boards. What time were you there for the signing? I actually asked her if I could take a picture of her, hoping for a good pose, but she looked to her assistant and I got the 'in the interest of time' response so I had to move along. I did get some shots of her while I was in line, but they certainly a far cry from your shots. Still playing with the ones I like to upload them here later. Was hoping for a little more interaction but I didn't get through the signing until about 1:30, and there was a lot of people left in line. Oh well, was still nice to see her. Very cute in person. And I'm stoked I found an artist in the Convention selling a print I was able to get signed. I went with the print and one of the 8x10s (I still have the print in plastic, I want to get it framed but am contemplating trying to get it signed by Dekker and Headey as well in the future: Wish I knew you were headed down there further ahead of time, would have been nice to catch up with another Member

I was near the front of the line and didn't realize some people were turned down. Maybe they realized they were running a little behind, which they were. Not too bad, but a little. Most of the earlier people got photos with her, and she seemed very patient. Even when people couldn't get the cameras to work at first. She would ask them, "Did it work?" and then they would try again. That's probably how they got behind.
If you saw a guy with a big white camera lens kneeling on the floor, that was me. I tried to get most of the shots from eye level, instead of standing up looking down at her. The lighting in there wasn't as good as I hoped for, so that made it harder. Especially from a distance.
I took two prints with me, but also bought the two they offered there so I could have her autograph all four.

Well good thing one of us got awesome shots for the site I was using my Canon G9, but had it on a different setting than usual in hopes of shooting both motion and consecutive shots. I got a little more noise than I was hoping for, but had my ISO settings on Auto and had to shoot with one hand half the time due to carry around my print and such lol. I MIGHT have seen you, when I was about to hit the front of the line. Were you in a light shirt or sweatshirt, and shooting from the right side by the exit of the line? I'm assuming you had a DSLR as well as a large lense with the quality of those shots

Yep, that was me. I had a light grey shirt on and a backpack, using a Canon DSLR and 300mm stabilized lens. If there was a little more light in there the photos would have looked noticeably better. I guess they realized after a while the line was moving too slowly. At first it did move pretty slow, everyone wanted a photo with her. Her assistant probably told her they needed to move along a little faster. I think if it was up to Summer only, she would have obliged everyone. See it pays to be early in line!
