So are you a collect-o-holic? If so, then come in her to chat w/ fellow forum members who suffer from the same affliction as yourself.
What do you collect? What's your most prized possession? What's your holy grail?

I'll start - I have a massive STAR WARS collection. When I say massive, I'm not exaggerating, I have so much stuff that my collection makes grown men (literally) cry. A few years ago I had my office filled w/ collection and had photos of it up and I immediately earned the respect of all of the guys over at THEFORCE.NET for my massive collection. My collection is very figurative related - lots of stuff that resembles the characters in the films...figures, figurines, mugs shaped like character heads, dolls, etc. Not tons of ships. It's very toy oriented. A lot of the oddball stuff that I have came from thrift shops. I usually go through phases of collecting stuff. Currently I'm only passively picking things up...mostly any Hasbro 3 3/4" female figures and the Galactic Heroes guys (they're so cute!) and that's about it. I collect other movie stuff too. I have a small X-Files collection and a small Indiana Jones collection. My greatest find ever belongs to my Indiana Jones collection. We have gobs of thrift shops where I live here in Phoenix. The best ones are Savers. At Savers they take the small toys, throw them together into bags and sell the bags cheap. I'm always looking at them for Star Wars stuff - or rare Barbie stuff (another collection I have) and I happened to pick up a bag that had some action figures in it. When I closely examined it there were vintage, original Raiders of the Lost Ark figures in it! It gets better. Not only was there a Toht (Shoot zem, shoot zem both), Indy, Cairo Swordsman, and I think Belloq BUT there was also MARION! Wait...it gets better. All except Cairo swordsman were in sealed plastic baggies. Marion's white fabric dress was pristine perfect, she had her monkey in the bag w/ her. Indy had his accessories as did the other 2. I got the whole bag for $3. I already had an Indy from when I was a kid and sold him alone for $55 on ebay. Marion had been one of my holy grails. I never thought I'd find one for under $50 in OK condition much less pristine and brand new. Yay me!

Let's see:
I've got seperate comics from over the various years. I was hugely into Spider-man during the whole mess, that was the Clone Saga Part 2. I managed to read nearly all of it before dropping the title and starting to just collect trades.
I'm a big fan of 80s movies. I've got all the various formats for Back to the Future, Indiana Jones novels that were up until recently out of print, Lost Boys in various formats, 70s and 80s horror films (Halloween and Friday the 13th are my favorites).
I also have a tendency to get into shows that meet the axe: Sliders, Lone Gunmen, Harsh Realm, etc.
Just a small portion of my stuff, but it's a start.

Oh dear me, where do I start? I love collecting! Started back in the 80's when I used to collect 12" singles on vinyl (remember that? That plastic disc thingie that used to have grooves on them that played music .. or something). I used to be, and still am, a huge fan of the Thompson Twins, I remember buying the 7" single of "We Are Detective" back in 83 I think it was, then "Hold Me Now" cam out and I bought my first 12" single. Then I was hooked! I now have every single thing put out by the Thompson Twins. Even more than the band themselves. I told Alannah Currie what I had and she was asking me for some things! Madness. I also collect Madonna too, not so much now, but during the earlier stuff like "Like A Prayer" "Ray Of Light" etc. DVD's, I love collecting them too, but I aim to collecting just limited editions pressings/packaging. Doctor Who. I do collect the action figures from the new series, but there is SO many of them now, new ones coming out all the time, so it's hard to keep up with them all, and expensive! I love the Tardis I got, its motion activated and makes the cool "strangled elephant" sounds! ;D JUST got an 18" interactive Dalek yesterday. Its very clever! You can talk to it, it respondes back by saying "yes" and "I obey" and does what you ask it to do, including following you around! I will post some pics of my Who collection here too. I would LOVE for SCC to have merchandise like this, or do I? teehee, addicted to collecting! Hey, not a bad thing. - Geoff

I collect Sailor Moon stuff. I've been collecting it since 1995. When I first saw the US dub. I don't know if I have anything rare. But I'm always ready to add to my collection. I think my favorite pieces would either be my Sailor Moon purses, dolls, or videos.

I collect quite a bit, but don't really have much when you consider how some collections have a room or two all to themselves! My 3 biggest collections would be - cups/mugs, stationery and Eeyore things. -- I think my mugs thing started some Easter; there used to almost always be a mug with an Easter egg, and I loved getting those. I have favourites, but really, any old design on a mug will do -- Stationery; again, I have favourites, but most designs will do I'm so bad that, if I buy anything other than just plain paper, I buy two of it - one to actually use, and the other to keep! -- Eeyore - well come on, he's so cute!! ^_^ I have things from teddies to a necklace and glasses to pencils I've managed quite a collection of Betty Boop stuff - all through presents! I do like her, but it's just one of the last things I'd ever choose to buy myself. I also have a bit of a thing for keyrings and postcards. Without a doubt, they're the first two things I go to buy as reminders of a holiday - and I will buy almost every different one available!
