That's right, I made a set of TSCC action figures! Sarah, John, Cameron, Derek, Ellison, Charley and Cromartie. You can view them here.

Thanks I'd been working furiously for the past few days to finish these up and I really couldn't be happier with how they turned out.

I so want my own set to play with.
Also: We should point these out to the Turk and see if Zack'll post these on the official blog. That would rock.

Oh my god these are AMAZING Tonya! I'm totally amazed by the kickass detailing that you put on each of the costumes and outfits. I used to customize Barbies (have done cool 12" series of dolls for Sex and the City, Star Wars, Firefly, and X-Men...I even made a 12" Sideshow figure who looks like Denzel Washington ) but I've never tackled trying to do figures this small, I don't think my hands would allow me to paint the details that you have on these guys. You're getting the front page news treatment baby! (Of course I'll link back to your LJ site. KARMA!

Coolness, thanks Erika It wasn't easy working on figures so small (my eyes gave me grief trying to paint some of those details), but I like little action figures and since Joes come all apart they're good to use for something like this. So you make 12" figures? I could never do that because then you have to sew clothes and stuff (I can't sew). You should totally make a 12" TSCC series!

Humm well the good thing is w/ GI Joes and Barbies having extensive wardrobes I can usually mix and match stuff to make outfits that closely resemble what I'd need for them to wear to look like their characters. You can see a few of the 12" customs I've done in the past HERE. My sister and I are experts on rerooting doll's heads - we yank out all of their old hair and give them new hair. We haven't done it in a long time (got sick of it) but it's a part of how we customize the dolls.

OMG that kicks ASS! BTW did you see Zack's comment on the main page? Apparently everyone on the show loves your figures!
