Welcome.
I'm reading through your info on the Skynet systems and I'm grateful for the details you give there. Gives me a lot more of an understanding of development in regard to going beyond the novels that I have and the movies. Even the episodes themselves since I'm developing a Derek Resse project.
Yeah, shutting my mouth beyond it or that project won't be happening.
Gave you some karma as well while I was at it.

Most of what I post in Skynet Systems is just obviously the way I see it...granted I'd been writing T-Ficton going on 15 years now...but feel free to agree and /pr disagree. That's the blessing of this universe you should feel free to interpret it any way you like.

I'll definitely be keeping that in mind.
I'm for certain that I don't want any Terminators with horns ala the Dark Horse run....-cringes- But I do like to go through the sources and see what different takes have been brought into play and go from there.
I'm familiar with tweaking and bending the rules of the verse as need be. I've been writing a little over 13 years myself. I just have to find links to adjust to the different verses as I see fit, but without disrespecting the source material.

That's the juggling act...especially with the eyes i've got on each script I release...someone with the initials J.C.
Anyhow. The juggling act between bringing you own ideas and incorporating the ideas of Mr. cameron turn me into a very perfectionistic person sometimes. Like this scene...I mean...Did I take john too far. Only you and I know at the moment...but eventually when it's released I'll get a resonse to that...and it will be varied. that much I'm sure of.

My take on it, no, but then again in the Cameron version of Terminator, we've only seem glimpses of an adult John Connor. So it's very much open to intrepretation unless one counts T3 or T2: The Future War.
The catch to the series is everyone has their own take on the material and that's going to conflict with whatever take we have, but as long as the core to the series is play, it really shouldn't be any issue. I mean look at the TV series. The fundamentals are still there, but new things are being brought into play and tested and explored. Without experimentation and exploration what's the point of telling a story?

Exactly.
I remember fans going what the point of making a Future War mwe know what's going to happen. But the smart writer takes what needs to happen...and surrounds it by many interesting stories. And absolutley the CORE of the story is exceedingly important....Another reason why I care deeply about my writing. If I'm not true to the core than what is the point of telling my story around it.

Then there is no point especially if the fanbase is already built into place. I agree entirely with you on those points.

He is one of John Connors commanding officers.
He is in charge of one of the eliter fighting units of the Resistance the B.M.D.
And in his introductory scene he's scaring the piss out of some new recruits.

Just a writing update.
I am now 25 mins in...that means I have approximatley Two hours left of script to write.
Today I had a Vision of a new Brand of H/K...of the Arial variety and it's going to blow your mind.
It is going to be called the Kestrel Arial H/K.
In brainstorming with a friend at work...we made the finale even more gut clenchingly emotional.
Firing on all cylinders.
