Heya all... I realize i've litterally fallen off the radar for a few months, which would normally be good if your name is John Connor, and you have a past history of having battled Terminators sent from the future. Well, it seems the past few months for me have been just about as unfun (translation: lousy, and lots of unplanned needless expenses to repair vandalism that happened). Personally I think, the way this summer and fall turned out for me, i'd have probably enjoyed and welcomed SkyNet sending Terminators out to get me.
Anyways, I do have a few new renders, couple art contest entries, tho they never got anywheres. But ahh well, the site I entered them in is known to be biased towards stuff that I'd consider repititous and bland in style. I'm proud to have done them, and pioneered a new shader technique which I can do the effects via pure render, where normally people have had to make do with rendering 2 images, and compositing them in photoshop or gimp.
The first two, do have 3 endoskeletons in it, but its more of a my own sci-fantasy musings rather than a Terminatorverse.

Now, the next image, is probably alot more true to Terminatorverse.

The concept revolves around the 'what if' idea that the Temporal Time Displacement royally got screwed up or glitched, and sent back a Terminator farther back than John Stark, to oh, lets say the Prehistoric and/or Ice Age era... Dinosaurs, Sabertooth cats, etc.
Now, wait, her eyes are blue, not red...Well, I'd like to think Cameron wasn't the only advanced Terminator unit to either chose to go over to John's side, or had gotten reprogrammed. Either way, since its already exampled T888's (and newer, if Cameron's 715 nomenclature surpases T888 models) such as Bidell which can come in a variety of skeletal sizes from petite to tall and hulking ala Conan size.
So basically, think of a TOK7xx or TOK888 class female unit, with a very amazonian or barbarian physique, having been sent back to the past, possibly to protect John or someone equally important. But the TTD screwed up and she got sent back too far way into the past. This particular unit, I've fondly dubbed "Carrara".
Though, my own little fictional Terminatorverse story version (I should start writing) also includes - before the TTD incident, while still in the future, before Cameron was employed into protecting John, Carrara was already part of the resistance. With Carrara having been much longer out on the field, as well as in the company of the resistance, her personality had developed more, more matured and rounded. Compared to the usual 'quirkiness' personality and mannerism in human interaction that Cameron had when she arrived. Before she got close and comfortable in FutureJohn's company, then got sent back only to rebuild / establish that repertoire with PresentJohn. So in essence, Carrara could've been like a bigger and older sister figure to Cameron, doting on Cameron much needed info, some handy tips and pointers to better aquaint herself in FutureJohn's company.
Now, I guess the idea of family and relative relationships amongst Terminator units doesn't or wouldn't really exist, but is more of our way of anthropomorphizing a kinship that Terminator units would share as fellow comrades working alongside the humans. The bigger and older sister idea also stems from how Arnie's T800 was given the family facade of "Uncle Bob" by YoungJohn who adopted him as a parental figure. Its also in the essence that a female version, if one were ever to exist, likely would have or could have posed as Sarah's sister and thus be nicknamed in the similar style as "Aunt Betty" or even "Aunt Carrara".
But for now, "Carrara" is what I'm happy with, and will be featuring her in more renders. I'm really enjoying the She-freak4 model, as well as the technique I pioneered for myself allows natural skin to be correctly layered ontop of an endoskeleton chasis. I may further tweak the process to show more actual Endoskeleton mechanics - arm servos and such.
I've got more renders in the works with her, so, stay tuned!
