Reading the article, it sounds like the main Terminator theme is not being used? Am I reading that wrong?

Reading the article, it sounds like the main Terminator theme is not being used? Am I reading that wrong? Since he's only on his second day of scoring we just don't know yet. What we do know is that there has been no mandate or ruling by either the powers that be or McG about using it or not.Therefore at this time the choice is his. For a personal standpoint I;d prefer more original stiff over a sound alike score. |

That's understandable... but I mean... that theme is epic and is definitely a HUGE part of the franchise.

That's understandable... but I mean... that theme is epic and is definitely a HUGE part of the franchise. In my opinion, anyway. :shrug: Oh I agree. And I want to hear echoes of it used. But lest we forget this is the rebirth of the series. Although I want to hear something familiar, I don't all at the same time because I think this Future War needs it's own style of music. It's own soaring themes. |

Since then, I think Elfman or McG has said the theme WILL be used.
Elfmans an interesting choice. He can be campy, but im banking on his versatility. Hes definitely a top composer.
