I finally caught the trailer on Youtube. www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EYWuSisadkNot the best quality in the world but ;D for the content. I wonder if she gets hurt at the clinic as a result of her nightmare of being beaten by Winston??? Linking into the "you die in your dreams, you die in real life" theme. The couple of clips of John and her seem to be while she's at the clinic - like a visiting hour kinda thing. Sounds like she has realised something fishy is going on and is trying to persuade John who thinks it's a sleep deprivation side FX. Course I might be totally wrong <shakes head> and I thought that dream I had last night about cheese strings and kangaroos was weird...

She's already got the cut when John talks about her not sleeping, so I'm thinking that happens before she goes to the clinic. I can't imagine Sarah would actually wonder about the die in your dreams/die in real life thing since she's been blown apart by a nuclear blast in dreams before

That I believe is what's happening in this episode.

I posted this on the other Fox board, and I'll post it here: Once again, I just saw a preview for the upcoming episode "Some Must Watch, While Some Must Sleep" on Canadian station SPACE. And there were a few things I remember about it (happened kinda fast when I wasn't paying attention): - Sarah shot with a tazer and shaking on the ground (dream sequence) - You see Sarah talking with the guy she killed in the warehouse -- Sarah: "I killed you", Ed: "And I killed you. One of us better step it up" (dream sequence) - Sarah saying "It's a Skynet experiment, John", while pictures of a brainscan on shown on a wall - John shooting a gun at something or someone off screen - And this, I know some people will love: Cameron walked by in a hot pink bra, and John takes a peek while on the phone ... whether those happen in the same scene, I don't know, but Cameron was in a bra...pink...nice If I see the preview again, I'll post some more info here.

Karma, SGS! Thanks for the recap. Oh-oh... John's shooting at someone. I have to say... how does Sarah end up at the one clinic in LA where Skynet is mucking about?! I am feeling very skeptical about this story beat (although it totally plays into what we've seen Skynet do so far this season), the implication in the teaser that Sarah just walks into a Skynet operation. On the other hand, maybe Skynet is running "Honest Ed's Sleep Clinics - now at a mall near you (turn left at the Borders)" as a way to map human brain activity, make the terminators more 'human' (which can't actually end well for Skynet).... Meh. I pass... now Derek in a pink bra would be worth talking about.

I raised an eyebrow at that when it was first mentioned. I was hoping that she went there undercover to investigate as opposed to stumbling onto something accidentally, cos that would be one hell of a coincidence. <LOL> You know I was joking when I suggested that as a way to up the ratings... sheesh, you just never know when people are listening That, I would pay good money to see. And then I'd probably be checking myself into a Help! I'm having nightmares! clinic...

Is the brainmapping thing possibly related to how Cameron has Allison's personality detailed so completely that it can override her when she glitches? Because I was never entirely convinced that that information was gained simply by Cameron's external observation and psychological profiling of Allison alone. It would say a lot about both the storage and emulation capabilities of Cam's chip that it can convey a 'full' human personality, and the validity of her own personality developing within that chip. (Which is not about Cam becoming human, but about the depth and complexity of her own unique personality.) And it would be an interesting link back to the start of the season. The starting point of that part of Skynet's technology. And very cool if Sarah were to be the one to have discovered it ...unless that was Skynet's plan all along? I love this show. Even the mad geeky speculation is fun.

I feel a little better now that I've learned it's a sleep clinic and not a mental asylum. Still, we'll have to put with a few docs crawling inside Sarah's head. I really, really, really hope this isn't yet another show inspired by One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest. I hate that plot device. It's been done to death. That's a pretty huge coincidence to swallow. There must be at least several dozen sleep clinics in LA. Weaver's operation isn't that big.

Just wanting to say that I just saw it again, and yes, I did see what I saw. Cameron walks by in her pink bra AND panties. I think the same one that you could see when she has that conversation with John in bed in "Mr. Ferguson Is Ill Today". Creppy how I remember that, huh? And I do think it that John and Cameron are in the same scene, because you see her look look at someone while walking by and they cut to John glancing back.
Personally, I wouldn't read too much into this for those that are hoping for something to happen. What I saw in the commercial is probably what you would see in the episode: 3 or 4 seconds, that's it.
Another thing I saw right at the beginning was Sarah looking at a fox or something in her dream sequence. I wonder what that's all about.

That's a pretty huge coincidence to swallow. Weaver's operation isn't that big. To act as my own Devil's Advocate for a moment... We don't actually know how big Weaver's operation is. So far we've seen Automyte Systems and the warehouse company and whatever shell company controlled it. Weaver might very well have a network of businesses and fronts set up throughout Southern California, all busily contributing to the development of a super Skynet. Regardless, it wouldn't be that hard to for Weaver to fund some-sort of sleep study as a cover for mapping human brain activity. Y'know, if Sarah was to end up in a motor vehicle collision because she hasn't been sleeping, an ER doc might recommend a sleep clinic. Particularly as I would imagine Sarah Connor resistant to taking drugs to help her sleep (been there, done that). Re: Foxes, the first dream dictionary Google brought up tells us that...

Sarah does have a bottle of sleep-aid pills on the counter.

Derek blew up her Jeep already and I bet he won't let her anywhere near his Ram. Her driving record - to date - is less than pristine!

TV-related OCD is the pits. ETA: oh, hey. So there is. Good catch. Karma. Oh, well. It was a theory (although, I'm not sure that taking OTC pills means Sarah would take sleeping pills. Then again, maybe with Cameron in the house, she doesn't feel like she needs to be on guard all the time. The again, Cameron's in the house...).
