I wouldn't say the shoulders are too broad but I think it's a 70/30 chance it's Jesse.
I hope it's her because that meeting can only be interesting

Sarah in a tank top with a gun! ;D Tank tops and short sleeves are rare on TSCC because Lena, Dekker and Brian have tats. I saw an interview that mentioned Lena was spending over an hour in makeup covering her Tats early S1. They finally ditched the tanks except on rare occasions. I find it amazing actors would limit themselves like this. Their appearance, skin etc. are part of their craft. Lena would have serious issues with a lot of roles that require bare arms. Can you imagine Scarlett O'Hara with tats? We've embraced Brian's tats, though. The only ones we cover up are the adorable picture of his son as a newborn and his ex's name. And of course we add the bar code. But as for the others, we figured resistance fighters in bunkers have a lot of time on their hands to do body art. Unfortunately, Lena's and Thomas' aren't really appropriate to the characters they play.

Is it simple part of his image? Or, are there tactical reasons? I can think of two reasons. 1) It helps conceal his side arm from sticking out of his waistband. 2) It covers up his bar-code tattoo, that Skynet gave him. Derek has to be extra careful not to reveal his identity. You never know who, or what, your going to run into. Any validity to my observations?

1: It helps him hide the gun in his waistband.
2: It helps cover his identifying tattoos, since he still is wanted by law enforcement.
3: He looks like a total badass in the jacket.

Turk thank you for the info. I've seen Lena's ink in various pictures. The back piece she's working on is pretty and very artistic. It's seems too feminine for Sarah Connor. I understand why it's covered when Sarah wears dresses or tanks. Cheap Tats are a bad legacy from the nineties. I look at mine and wonder wtf I was thinking. It did seem like a good idea at the time and everybody I knew was getting them. It's one of those life lessons that shapes who I am today. I'm glad mine are small and easy to conceal.

So is She" poster, her right arm has the tattoo on it. Still, I'm with k8tie, a tank top every week'd just take the fun out of it

OMFG! A UFO convention! You guys have no idea what this means to me, so let me explain. Waaaayyyy back in my school days - like, grammar school - I got interested in UFOs. Then when I was in the Army in the late '60's, I started reading articles by John A. Keel, a journalist who specializes in odd phenomena (among other things). He was the guy they based the Richard Gere movie, "The Mothman Prophecies" on. It was based on a true story that Keel investigated in Point Pleasant, West Virgina, back in the '60's. Anyway, I ended up meeting Keel after I got back from Vietnam, and I even spent some time in Point Pleasant interviewing the people involved in the incidents, and confirming what Keel had written about the case. I also corresponded with him and other top UFO researchers a lot about UFOs. Now, the deal with Keel is that his theories are that UFO's have nothing to do with aliens and a lot to do with the human mind and perhaps more bizarre phenomena than we can even contemplate. But a lot of it has to do with how the human mind can be manipulated to see whatever someone else wants it to see. As an example, all these "contactee" stories are basically confabulations that are either created by the contactees' minds themselves while in contact with some OTHER phenomena or created by the PHENOMENA itself. See the connection to poor Sarah and her three dots? So to have Sarah Connor turn up at a UFO convention is, like, ugh! Either the writers had better use this to show how she's going completely nuts - or they'd better use this in a more sophisticated way than JUST showing a bunch of UFO nuts and dragging in aliens. TheTurk: 1: It helps him hide the gun in his waistband. 2: It helps cover his identifying tattoos, since he still is wanted by law enforcement. 3: He looks like a total badass in the jacket. Yeah - and point three is why he needs point one and two - because a cop takes one look at him and says, "4-11 jacket, thug, criminal, do a stop and frisk!" Dude needs to upgrade his wardrobe before he ends up back in jail on a concealed weapons charge - and then of course murder one for Andy Goode. Seriously. Derek walking around like he does, he's going straight to jail. i know about jail house tattoos myself - and I wouldn't get one if you paid me. Every criminal who gets one is simply setting himself up for another jail sentence. In fact, I knew one guy who was essentially convicted of a crime he didn't commit (although he did commit others) simply BECAUSE they made him SHOW his tattoos to the jury in court! As for Sarah Connor not having tats, I don't really understand that. If any tough female hero should have tats, it's Sarah Connor. She's hung out with military types half her adult life, not to mention being in a mental institution. Tats fit her like a glove! Of course, it's a little late to be showing them now. OTOH, maybe when she goes off the deep end mentally, you can have her get a bunch of tats! ;D ;D

Who knows? Maybe Cameron will find it oh-so-tempting to subject Riley to the same "pretzel" treatment she gave that red-headed female Terminator a while back..?

Man, I can not wait to see John get his butt completely messed up when he finds out Riley is a lesbian plant of Jesse's! After telling Cameron to stay away from her! He is going to be one hurting "savior"! I mean, Riley telling Jesse "we can be together"? Oh, man. I wonder how it was that Jesse was kissing Riley in a previous episode. Unless I misread that entirely and the quote refers to John and Riley, but I suspect not. I can't tell from the promo, who is Sarah pulling a gun on and demanding "Who are you?" Was that Jesse or someone else? And who was she shooting at? If it was Jesse, then things will be coming to a head. But we might not find out until February!

Who knows? Maybe Cameron will find it oh-so-tempting to subject Riley to the same "pretzel" treatment she gave that red-headed female Terminator a while back..? Almost certainly not. John tells her, predictably, to "stay away from her". Hurting Riley would have the exact opposite effect of what Cameron wants: it would drive a real wedge between her and John, to the point where he may want to make scrap metal of her. Now, if she can find out and proof Riley is from the future, on the other hand, than she can gain. But I doubt that's for ep13. Cameron will probably attempt to scare Riley a bit (or otherwise get angry without actually doing anything drastic, physically), and be warned by John to not touch her as a result. There are rumours Charlie Dixon may be back in this episode. I hope it's true, would like to see him again.
