LMAO.
Daughter: "My mommy is tougher than you. She slices and dices people....."
Doctor: "Slices and dices?"
Daughter: "Terminates people."
Doctor: "Like being fired from a job?"
Daughter: "No, terminates. Gone. Bye-bye. No more."
Doctor: "Is that what happened to your father?"

You'd think it'd be easier for Catherine to just throw her in a dumpster or something. Edit: I just realized how totally messed up that sounds. I wish I could put it in better words.

Of course, we don't know how much time her real parents spent with her. For all we know, she's been raised by a nanny. T-1000 Catherine might actually be a better parent than the real Catherine.

Thus far all I can say about Catherine's daughter is she makes her cover that much more realistic in the long run. It's not something we've seen occur with Terminators before. Sure, we've seen Uncle Bob come and protect John twice and scarifice himself to keep John safe, but there's been nothing like Catherine taking care of a daughter.
I'm extremely curious to see how exactly she managed to get this point or if Catherine simply took over the real Catherine's place, killing her and keeping up the life with her husband and daughter in tow. While still keeping about the mission.

I enjoyed Catherine in AFP (which was a first), but I still wish they wouldn't dress her up like a Jetson. I think that's what really irrratates me about her character... that and the way she says "dollars."
She sure is beautiful, though.
Oh, and she does seem to have chemistry with James (Richard).

I'm not sure about the "chemistry" between Weaver and Ellison. Certainly Weaver is playing a very interesting role. She seems nearly as adept as dealing with humans as Cameron in "human emulation mode", but she's clearly in "Terminator mode" when she does so.
I'd say she's the most advanced Terminator around, both in terms of her "liquid metal" and her ability to deal with humans.
Of course, Josh has Shirley still playing her pretty cold and vicious on occasion, but she is very precise and yet almost charming with Ellison. She definitely keep the upper hand with Ellison in their conversations.
I was very interested in her last line, that he would find no "evil" in the Terminators, despite what he said about them being "evil". Technically, she's right. They aren't "evil", they're just machines with not much in the way of self-interest. Skynet is the only one that might be considered "evil", and even that isn't certain, depending on its thought processes which caused it to go off the rails. Its effects may be considered "evil", but as a sci-fi story pointed out once, it's hard to be sure an AI is malicious simply by its actions. I'd say Skynet goes beyond that, but again it's actions may be more "emotional" than consciously malicious. Hard to tell.
Certainly Weaver seems malicious, more so than even previous Terminators or Cameron in her Terminator mode. Her behavior with her employee was unnecessarily vicious for a machine. Cameron will lie and kill with no emotion, as will Cromatie; Weaver seems to ENJOY killing, which is odd.

I meant "chemistry" in terms of the acting, not the characters.

While still keeping about the mission. Personally, I think that Catherine 1001 snuck aboard the Weavers' helicopter and sabotaged it, killing both the Mr. and Mrs. at the same time. Little Catherine Jr. was probably off with the nanny somewhere, and saw none of it. Then, Catherine 1001 dumps the real Catherine's body wherever she likes, and makes the difficult trek to the nearest pocket of civilization to tell them the "bad" news about "her" helicopter and husband.

What is it with T-1000's and helicopter crashes?

Timstuff, very nice possibility there would definitely suit the situation.
Vic, only thing I can figure is that's an homage to T2 in some way, but that's just my theory it. This is definitely the point where we need the Turk to do some explaining without giving out the goods as a whole.

When you think about it, Terminators seem to be a lot better at passing off as human when they're impersonating someone else. Even the Terminator in T1 was able to fool Sarah into thinking that he was her mother. The T-1000 certainly seem to understand some of the nuances of human interaction, he even made a few attempts at small talk. I'm pretty sure that's how all executives get away with firing employees without giving them a severance package.

I've read that TSCC goes on hiatus after this episode. Courtesy of baseball playoffs. So, everyone better enjoy this episode. Hopefully it'll be back soon.

That's true - unless they move it to another night where baseball doesn't conflict. Baseball playoffs always screw w/ Fox programming in the fall though.

It would be cool if Fox announced that the show will return on a new night after Monday's show.
