From seeing the clip from Carson Daly, it's seems pretty clear that "Savannah" is most definitely human! And seriously terrified of her "mother"!
I'm surprised they got away with that scene on the show!
I don't recall Cameron ever doing that sort of thing - except maybe when she was crushed between those trucks, ahem...

New theory: John is undercover at the child psychologist, who's apparently named on the wall by dead future guy, and Sarah's listening to his session in that pic of her on her headphones.
Heheheheh. Is it wrong that I hope Lt. Shaw is tech support from 2027?

These next two episodes look like they're going to be the best ones of the second season thus far.

Forgot all about dead future guy and his list of "problems".
And he had quite a list there.
Obviously that could fill up the next 9 episodes and possibly 9 more beyond.
Thinking about that, it seems like Josh couldn't figure out how to keep the Connors on the counterintelligence track. I mean, Derek's team had a whole backpack or two full of papers on who might be a suspect, but presumably that went up with the house in flames, unless Derek managed to retrieve it later.
So unless Derek or Sarah remembers some of what they collected, they're screwed unless dead guys from the future keep dropping in to point them in the right direction. That could get old really fast.
It's like I said after episode two. If the Connors were smart, they would follow up on everything about that nuclear plant. They would immediately see that the proposed "automation" of the plant was a Skynet front. And following that up would have led them directly to Weaver, since presumably she owns the company involved in that.
And one look at Weaver and her history, and they'd immediately sense a Terminator!
Maybe Josh and the writers need a creative consultant with a little more experience at tradecraft and counterintelligence. ;D And military matters - stop letting Derek run around with an M-79 grenade launcher and NO RELOADS! Yo, Josh!
And we still don't know who this clown was who actually HAD the Turk, presumably from Sarkissian somehow. He didn't seem to be just a Weaver contract asset, so how did he get it?
Questions, questions!

These next two episodes look like they're going to be the best ones of the second season thus far. Those two clips have me crushing madly on Derek Reese, DFM, so I'm already impressed. Much potential.

Or was she a girl he knew from when he was a kid and he met her now when they're adults?

Maybe both. She's been described as a "rogue Resistance fighter", so clearly she's from the future. But he also might have known her as a kid - his high school crush, maybe (just to stick it to John some more, who's having trouble getting one!)
I suspect this is another of Josh's "send the intelligence back through time so these idiots can find their butts with both hands" trick. i.e., Jesse is sent back to keep the story line moving since at the moment the Connors are clueless about just about everything going on.
OTOH, another possibility is rooted in that description of Jesse as "rogue". What does that mean? Somehow she jumped the time machine, too, in an attempt to escape from the future? Does this portend a revelation about Cameron? Does Jesse come back from a time period AFTER Cameron did? Does she know about Cameron?
The other guy died before we could find out anything about him. Jesse lives. What will she reveal about the future war? About Derek? About future John? About Cameron? About Skynet?
She could be the most important character they've introduced yet.
Oh, and of course, what does she know about Weaver and The Turk?
Or does she come through under the same circumstances as the last guy, but she survived? Will she reveal that the Resistance time machine has been destroyed by Skynet - and that nobody else will be coming through, and thus the Connors are on their own from now on?
Another possibility - will she reveal that the reason the Resistance time machine has been discovered and destroyed by Skynet is precisely because Cameron went through?
Here's something I just remembered from episode one of season one. When asked how long Cameron had been searching for the Connors, she said something like "73 days". Think about that. If John had sent Cameron back in time to protect him, SHE WOULD HAVE KNOWN WHERE THEY WERE AT ANY GIVEN TIME (assuming the time line hadn't changed for some reason, resulting in that information no longer being available to John.)
She didn't. She had to hunt them. More evidence that she came back on her own.

Sorry, forgot that was there!

Something is bothering me about that clip of the kid in Tower. If a child was that afraid of their parent, people would not just ship her off to a therapist and be done with it. They would assume abuse, take the child away from them, and look into the parent. It's ridiculous that anyone would just dismiss a child's fear like that especially now a days. She would be in social services so fast...

I'm guessing resistance fighter but I'd rather TSCC not go to that well too often.
You know what might be cool... someone he knew in the resistance who he's now met pre-Future!War! who doesn't quite get how this random guy seems to know her so well.

But he also might have known her as a kid - his high school crush, maybe (just to stick it to John some more, who's having trouble getting one!) I'm thinking it might be a teacher from junior high or high school. Interesting opportunity to hook up with a teacher he was infatuated with.

I'm guessing if she's a romantic interest of Derek's then maybe he'll die and if they decide to do a 3rd season then she might become the connors ally from the future.Just a theory.
