Your second paragraph is EXACTLY what I'm talking about.
I think Cameron may have been human.

The Resistance is capturing and reprogramming Terminators. I just don't see how Skynet will let that pass. I'm sure that Skynet has plans to bring its wayward children back into the fold. It's possible that Cameron was built by the Resistance but captured and reprogrammed by Skynet. She could even be a Terminator that's been repeated captured and reprogrammed by the Resistance and Skynet.

Whatever Cameron may or may not have been in the future doesn't change the fact that in the present she's a machine that has tried to kill JC. Furthermore the common theory that she was a Terminator designed and or programmed by the human resistance/JC from scratch seems less likely after last nights episode, as she obviously has a default protocol like all the other Terminators to put JC in the dirt. The more likely scenario is that Cameron was a human known to JC who was subsequently captured/killed by Skynet who then used her physical appearance as a template for a new model. The scenes of Cameron running and being caught in a net (I'm assuming that's her) could easily be a scene where Skynet is hunting humans in order to round them up for some purpose other than simply killing them on the spot. After all there's that scene in the T4 trailer with humans who have been corralled into what looks like some sort of holding yard, not dissimilar to what you have for livestock in an abattoir. That is actually believable!! I think you're spot on. It sure makes a lot more sense then the typical "she's half human" theory. IF there was a human Cameron, I think she is long gone and won't have much to do with our bot version of the girl.

Ya know, as I mentioned in other threads, after last night's episode there was a shot of Cameron in the future (in a HIGHLY emotional state) and it got me to thinking, what if Cameron was a human? What if she's a lab-rat for Skynet and they're developing a program that turns humans into terminators? I don't know, just a thought. If she were any sort of half human she'd have a brain. But she has a chip. The only thing that really fits is that she was made to to look like someone real.

Let me also say that when I said she could have been human, she doesn't have to be a living one. Skynet would have killed her and used her skin to place on an endoskeleton.

That sounds similar to what they pulled in the Dark Horse run with the Doctor. Except they his brain and put it into a Terminator. Skynet's programming continued to fight against the remanants of the guys subconcious and concious mind.

They've got Cameron out buying groceries now? Jeez that's akin to doing the school run in a Formula One car.

It's not Ellison. It's just a cop. They've got Cameron out buying groceries now? Jeez that's akin to doing the school run in a Formula One car. Well last time they send her out to get a b-day cake. And we all know what happened. This should have told them not send Cameron out on grocery shopping either. Nothing good comes of sending Cameron out to get food.

Talk about a case of short circuiting.
"Sorry, Riley. I've got to find my sister. She's suffering from a case of amnesia....her memory isn't what it's suppose to be."

I'm gonna take a leap here and say that the scene from the latest trailer makes more sense now. We see John, Cameron and the girl from the pic (who is described as a homeless btw) in the back of a room and he says Cameron's chip is messed up again. If Cameron doesn't know who or what she is it certainly explains her reaction.

You want something interesting look at the close ups of them trying to remove camerons chip in the church from the Gallery.
Looks like John had to cut through some pretty tuff white stuff to get to the cover plate.
Almost like skull.

How often can they cut open Cameron's head before the skin stops regenerating? I don't think there are any conditioners out there that can deal with that kind of follicle root damage.
