DO we even know for certain that girl was his daughter. It's possible but there wasn't anything that confirmed it.

I think it's pretty certain that the little girl is Sarkissian's daughter because she said her daddy worked in the cafe and he's the only guy we see working there.

Nice work, Erika.
And wow about that future terminator. Yeah, he could just be another of the same model terminator, but I'd guess there's more to it than that. I'm quite intrigued now.

Having the Terminator that flips out in the bunker be the same model that we see at the beginning was a deliberate choice that helped put an emphasis on Derek's anger at John Connor for using reprogrammed Terms. It's also a legacy from an earlier iteration of "Dungeons and Dragons" that you'll hear more about on the DVD extras. I just watched them and they're fantastic-- really well put together and informative for fans of the show. There's even stuff that I never saw, like behind the scenes footage of air ramps catapulting stuntmen into the pool for the famous massacre scene, and so forth. I think you'll all be really happy with the work they've done.

I'd just (on, like, the fourth viewing? what? I like it) noticed the same terminator being in the two scenes in D&D. Ha. Neat to have it explained.
Oooh. Exciting. DVD extras. I assume the commentaries are all done now? (I'm a commentary geek. Love them when they're well done, as I suspect this show's will be.)

I can't wait to check out all of the special features on the disks! Any idea what else is included on them? Did they put the unaired pilot on there?

I'm not sure of everything they've done, but there will be audio commentaries on the pilot and finale, documentaries on the show and at least two episodes, interviews with the three Js (Josh Friedman, John Wirth, James Middleton), the department heads (including people like Michael Novotni and Joel Kramer who worked on the Terminator movies), the four main cast members plus Brian Austin Green, and other stuff as well. I'm really excited about it, especially since my brothers don't get broadcast TV and are waiting for the DVDs to watch the show! Zack

This seemed to be the best place to post my observations, maybe.
Things I have noticed
Mentioned already, co writer of T2 is William Wisher
Brad Fiedel also wrote music for the TV show Turks
The Swing, which is an icon from from T2
