This is a TV show but I'm going through the 5 stages of grief right now.
First I was in denial... even when we got the word.
Then I got REALLY friggin' angry and pissed off
And now I'm into the bargaining stage.. maybe we can do something if this or that happens?
But that probably won't work and I'll hit depression soon enough

I don't know what to do with myself. I've never been through this kind of thing before. Once I get over the sadness, I'll write my way out of this thing. But right now, I'm just a big ol' mess of emotions. Hopefully Josh's new pilot can get picked up, maybe as early as Fall 2010. Summer as the lead character may be a distinct possibility, if she's not busy at the time. He wrote a pilot before with Summer as the lead, but it never panned out.

Such a shame, but it absolutely does not come as a surprise. The writing was on the wall when Dollhouse got renewed - now we know for sure this was it for TSCC.
Hopefully some of the people involved will spill the beans on how the early drafts for S3 were supposed to go, what direction Friedman was planning to take.

Kinda stuck between depressed and angry right now, myself. I think 'Screw off, Fox' will become my catch phrase for a while.
Friend: "Hi, how're you?" Me: "Screw you, Fox. Good. How're you?" Friend: "Um. Ok. Are you allright?" Me: "Screw you, Fox. Just fine. Catch the game last night?"

Color me crazy, but maybe we're not out just yet. I could be in the "Denial" stage, as described by schmacky.
There was plenty of support for the Show from fans during the limbo period. EW, CNN, MTV, and other blogs/publications had Articles out praising the Show and hoping for more. The Fans got behind it, but maybe not enough. There was a 50/50 chance of getting Season 3, the push was not as hard as it could have been.
JERICHO was officially cancelled, and came back almost a year later with 7 new Episodes.
IF there is enough of a push from Fans, I don't rule out the possibility of at least a partial Season to wrap everything up. Shows come and go on FOX all the time, and I am sure that the Lineup will have empty spots to fill. There is no reason that Terminator could not come back for at least a half season.
So sure, we were denied Season 3 for this Fall Season, but we might have a slim chance for something down the line.
No Fateā¦

My only hope is that the stupid friggin' comedy block fails MISERABLY... like 1.something mil viewers and Fox will realize that they totally F'ed up with killing SCC. Dollhouse is gonna tank too. C'mon.. two comedy shows and then a dark sci-fi program on a Friday night? Yeah, that's a real winner!

The scheduling is ridiculous, to be honest. It's really an insult almost. Dollhouse + Human Target makes sense. Dollhouse + Comedy Block is... ridiculous. Dollhouse viewers are going to be crying to have TSCC as a leadin again, but won't get it.

TSCC will live on in fanfic. Terminator already had a lot of good writers. Some will focus on TSCC and it's unique characters.
Josh added so much depth to the Sarah Connor character. We barely got to know her in the two movies. There's lots of great material to explore in fanfic.
I may continue to include Charley and Derek in stories I write. The cast was pretty thin by the finale. I always felt they should have done more with Charlie and Sarah. Those two had something pretty special.
Hopefully fan sites like tsccsociety will keep the doors open for awhile. Give fan fic writers a place to publish and discuss. The Season 3 speculation threads have some great ideas for future stories.

So nothing about ever finding out what his plans were for the third season, huh? That's adding disappointment on top of disappointment. I've yet to erase the finale from my dvr but I guess I'll go ahead and do so now. I don't think I can bare to watch it again and think "if only..."
