Discuss the possible future relationship of Derek and Allison (the inspiration for Cameron).

I consider it reasonably possible that Derek and Allison had some sort of relationship, or at least knew each other as part of Connor's HQ party.
It would explain how Derek was able to recognize Cameron as "metal" the minute he saw her in Connor's HQ. It would be because he both knew Allison and he knew there was an Allison Terminator in the interrogation house. So immediately he would see that Cameron was not Allison, and worse, that Cameron was an "evil" Terminator.
Only when the officer explained otherwise did he realize he was in error. And if he had a relationship or just friendship with Allison, he would realize she was dead, undoubtedly killed by Cameron, and that would explain his hatred of Cameron in addition to whatever he suffered from her in the interrogation house.
Because if TheTurk is right about Derek being in the interrogation house for weeks or longer, Derek was in the interrogation house at approximately the same time Cameron interrogated and killed Allison. Then, while Derek was still a prisoner, Cameron made her infiltration attempt, was caught, reprogrammed, and then Derek was released and encountered her in Connor's HQ.

Absolutely agree! I just mentioned this over in the Derek Reese forum. I think Derek knew Allison and (as friends or lovers or whatever) and knows that Cameron killed her, so it reminds him everytime he looks at Cameron's face that she is not Allison and that Cameron is the one who killed her. It is the perfect added reason for him to despise Cameron. This would add a whole other level to Derek and Cameron's dynamic via Allison. It would also be rather tragic, but that is the story of the Connors and Reese's lives is it not?

I, too, agree that Derek likely knew Allison in the future (assuming Allison isn't just a Cameron fantasy). How well they knew each other...well, that's tough to glean right now.
My sense is that Allison would have been closest to John. Given that she was specifically chosen by the terminators to copy, that seems safe. By dint of that association, Derek would have known of Allison, but while Derek is one of John's best soldiers, I don't think he was part of the inner-circle. After all, he was told about re-programmed terminators only when he NEEDED to know.
Also, his gun-pointing reflex with Cameron didn't seem to have the element of rage necessary for Derek and Allison to have had a really close relationship. If they'd been particularly close, you'd have expected Derek to be on a rampage, but instead he was rather easily subdued. I think it was more Derek's acquired generic robot hatred more than there being a replacement. Still...he was immediately able to spot the switch, so clearly he knew that Allison was gone.
Even so, Cameron and Derek did have to interact following the discovery...if only for Cameron to save him from suicide-by-terminator, as well as to take him to John in the time-machine area. Was there more?

I'd say that the fact that Jesse appears to have been Derek's girl friend in the future probably lets out Allison as having been one.
Not a certainty of course, but I'd say it's unlikely.
Allison still might be someone Derek knew, of course. But I don't think we'll see any relationship other than comrades there.

Especially with Jessie being a fling from his (future/past/huh?). Though I've seen some interesting fiction and thoughts on the possibility of this relationship. I'm not totally discounting it yet, but I think the chances dropped with the introduction of Jessie.
