Thanks for reading; I don't own anything to do with Terminator.
Summary: There's only those moments... Sarah POV.
TTSCC: Moments
Her muscles lock around her body like a vice. Threatening to strangle her at any given moment. But she can't take her mind off it, Judgment Day, John and the history of things to come. It follows her everywhere, to the bathroom, to her bedroom and to her workplace when she does have a job. There's only those moments. The small rare moment's that Sarah Connor laughs with her son or makes (or attempts) to make a joke with Derek. It's in those moments she is no longer the warrior Kyle Reese foretold to her a life time ago. She let's them see the younger version of herself, a life that she can't even remember. It flashes before her like a bright light igniting the sky and it gives her hope. That they can fight this. That they can end this, and maybe even survive the battle. There's only now and maybe tomorrow. It was Kyle who first made her see how precious life was, he told her he couldn't remember his life before the bombs fell. He saw this life, that they had then, they she still has and he told her then he would die for it. For her and the things to come. Because he believed they could stop this. Because he knew they had to try. It's now or never...
