Thanks for reading; I don't own anything to do with Terminator.
Summary: Sarah Connor has never been good at listening, Sarah POV.
TTSCC: An Iron Will
Sarah Connor has never been good at listening.
Not in the way that if someone came to her with problem she wouldn't try and sit down and understand them.
But in the way that if she thought she was doing the right thing and somebody tried to stop her there would be hell to pay.
Because only two things matter in her life.
John, her son, and keeping him alive.
Everything else revolves around him.
She hopes one day he will know that, and if he does already that remembers it.
Because she knows she is likely to die soon.
Of course she doesn't want to, she knows how precious life is.
But when her son asked her to stop Judgment Day and the ever growing Skynet she didn't just say yes because she would try.
She said yes because she will.
Sarah Connor has always had a iron will, even since a early age she would refuse to do something if she didn't believe it to be right.
She would even have several shouting matches with her parents in the process, but it didn't matter.
She had only been eight then.
But then she sees her son, he asks her to stay alive, he asks her to be her best.
So she will, even though she knows of the coming storm, even though the darkness screams at her that she will die soon.
She will stay alive.
If only for him.
Sarah Connor has never been good at listening.
Call her pigheaded, call her stubborn but in the end those are the qualities that will keep her alive.
For him, John...
For the future...
