This just in from composer Bear McCredy's "Bear's Battlestar Blog" site: Great news! Warner Bros. and La La Land Records have come together to release my soundtrack album for “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - Season One.” This will include all the best musical moments from the first season, featuring all the metal-smashing-percussion and electric-string-quartet you can handle! The album release date has not yet been announced, but expect it before the end of the year. Click HERE for original post on his site!

I can't wait. The 'Theme' they play at the end credits get used a lot in the series, it is very haunting and I love it.

Has there been any word on a release date yet? I'd LOVE to get my hands on the soundtrack. I've been known to re-watch scenes because of the music.

I haven't heard anything, but my eyes are glued at Amazon.com until we get a release date.

Hey, Twilight - might be better to keep an eye on the label's site instead - www.lalalandrecords.com/index.htmlIIRC, not all their soundtracks end up available through Amazon.

I think that's "Sarah's Theme," which IIRC is the only piece of music, apart from the theme itself, that uses motifs from the original score. At least is sounds very much in keeping with Brad Fiedel's work in The Terminator (no kidding, right? ) Um.... Bear McCreary posted about it in March, I think... www.bearmccreary.com/blog/?p=248#more-248
