So who's planning on going to this year's Comic Con 2008? Josh has said that the whole TSCC group is ready to go.
What events do you want to see?

I've never been and I'd love to go, but I think it's unlikely. I'm on the east coast and I kind of have a fear of flying. Although I have driven to California twice before and my husband and I were contemplating some sort of a big road trip this summer... hmmm... it's a mighty long drive from sea to shining sea, though!

www.comic-con.org/cci/ <--- for information on the event No actual information on the TSCC cast going to be present, however, the guest list hasn't been updated since Feb 18th. I was so excited/ticked when I found out Summer was going to be WizardWorld. I wanted to go so bad and ticked there was no way I could. Maybe this can be another chance to meet her and whole cast. Anyone know where a list of appearances for the cast might be?

Josh Friedman said that they will be at Comic Con, most likely we won't get full lists of guests start populating on the website until a couple of months from now when fall tv schedules start solidifying. Trust me once we find out when the panel will be held and on what day, we will happily let everyone know

Cool and thanks! I look forward to any info in those coming months. Hopefully I can make it to this and be one of the lucky fellows to get a seat at the panel.

I plan on going for whatever TSCC festivies are held. Will more than likely just do one day only, unless I end up staying the night for a two day max trip.

Ronnie your an experienced convention goer (me I've never been) for the events they say have limited capacity as mandated by the fire marshals How early do you recommend someone be in line to see the TSCC panel? I know Comic Con is a huge event and I'm assuming Saturday will be the day of the panel. Still trying to nail down a hotel but man I'm wanting to go!
Oh and have fun this weekend you lucky dog!

Not exactly sure how soon beforehand one would expect to arrive for the panel.
My GUESS is 3 hours minimum?

It all depends on what time of day the panel is. I mean if it's early you want to get there when the doors open, find the room where the panel will be and just get in line.
I waited over 1 1/2 to get signatures from Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness at the Phoenix Con this winter as they were signing their new Red Hulk comic books - that was only at Phoenix Con, I can't imagine what lines will be like for Comic Con.

thanks for the replies 3 hours really isn't that bad considering the number of people that'll be present and not knowing how large the panel room will be. of course its only a guess but I do appreciate it I've never been to a convention of any size before, so I definately want to make the most of it. Right now I'm only seeing rooms available at the Marriot and a few other hotels close by that are on an Island across from the convention center. Seems I'll have to rent a car to traverse the highways and bridge I'd be terrified to walk it even if it is just over a mile! People drive crazy here in little ol Indiana I couldn't imagine California! In the mean time I'll keep an eye out for other convention possibilities as well.

If the whole cast of TSCC goes I may only go that day. I will wait to see the schedule.

Woohoo! I just got my confirmation that I qualified for a professional registration at Comic Con!
What does that mean? Well I should get access to things first and I'm hoping that I'll be able to get behind the scenes to talk to people!
Who else is planning on going?

I just sent in my full registration for my pro package. I think all that you have to do is goto the website and sign up to register. I think it's $75 for the whole weekend or you can order just day passes. I'm going for the whole event starting preview night. You can Click HERE for registration details!
