There was some talk about ratings over at the wiki community. It's Olympics... other networks are going to get crap for ratings. Sunday night, NBC beat out all the other networks (CBS, ABC, FOX, and CW) COMBINED. So yeah... I don't think TSCC will be getting good viewership until the Olympic craze settles down some.

That's definitely a good point.

The DVD and BluRay of T:SCC are very high in the sales ranks for Movies&TV on Amazon.com, so it's likely people are going to be watching it that way instead of on FOX.
The buzz online (it's all over the place!) and DVD/ BluRay sales are more important for Season 2 ratings than anything else.

That's not including people that have downloaded the series off Amazon.com and sites like Itune as well.

There are few constants in life but how much I love "The Turk" is one of them. Yeah, ratings are going to suck against the Olympics but it's good counter-programming. It'll be interesting to see the DVR numbers.

Long live Andy Goode -- I'm watching Gnothi Seauton which I recorded last night (just because it's my fav). And OMG I forgot how good this show looks on a big screen. Anyway, I've decided Sarah should ride a motorcycle more often.

I'm eager to get mine over to the big screen myself. Waiting out the DVDs so eagerly.

I just ordered my DVD set yesterday from a store down the street. I had it in my amazon cart and was going to do the pre-order, but then I realized it wouldn't get to me before I go on vacation unless I paid extra shipping. So now I'll get it the day it comes out and they had a price break on the pre-order too. Worked out great.
That actor who played Carlos is awesome. I was sad he got killed in What He Beheld. I was hoping he'd be a recurring character.

Heading to Best Buy as soon as it hits shelves the day of release. I'm determined to get it on day one, one way or another. I've got a copy sitting in my Amazon cart, just don't want to wait out the wait.
I was thinking the same with Carlos, but they quickly took away the old links except for their connection to the Dyson's.

I ordered mine from Amazon.ca last week. I expect to get it pretty much on or around the 19th - they're usually pretty good at shipping as close to the release date as possible. Also, living in Toronto, hello, major transportation hub, has it's advantages.

I go for whatever the free shipping is but it usually arrives sooner than I expect. Also, I'm assuming that Amazon and others will get their shipments in plenty of time to "street" the DVDs on the 19th. If anyone cares, I'll let y'all know when I get mine.
Okay, on topic, I think my favourite part of "The Turk" may be the scene in the kitchen as Sarah sends John off to school and tells Cameron not to kiss her or anyone else.

That's one of my all-time fave moments in the season. That whole scene was funny. I mean, what mom goes about an escape route for high school, with map and all? And John was playing it all cool cos she's like that all the time. Just funny. But, definitely loved the line she delivered to Cameron. Greatness.

Wow, so I watched "Heavy Metal" tonight and I noticed when John is online looking @ the page dedicated to the suicide girl, I noticed a message that said "too bad... you were hot."
Is it bad that I chuckled when I seen that?
Anyway, I'd also like to point out that John wasn't reall "whiny" in this episode... or the previous three for that matter. I think they made him weaker as the season went on, because he's been pretty aggressive so far.

If anything he was definitely determined to save her, but Cameron held him back.
