A special mention here for Virgin 1
This came totally out of the blue last night while flicking the channels I came across Virgin 1 and found to my delight Virgin 1 had TWO half hour behind the scenes specials of SCC just starting, It was fantastic and great to see Virgin 1 taking SCC so seriously. It was a UK show with an English Presenter.
Anyhow it was brilliant and we really got to see behind the scenes, perhaps even Cameron in her PROM dress, she looked stunning in it, they all seemed so nice and were really into the show. Thomas, Summer, Brian, Richard, Shirly and Garret as well as various production staff were interviewed. Funnily enough no interview from Lena, very strange as it is after all Sarah Conner Chronicles.
Only thing was Im unsure why we had two specials when they were clearly made at the same time and actors were interviewed at the same spot on production, although I agree that one special was for season 1 and the other for S2 I still dont think it warranted it to be split as if it was a different show.
BUT THANK YOU VIRGIN FOR THIS NICE SURPRISE.
They are repeated tonight

Terminator: Behind the Scenes 22:30

www.virgin1.co.uk/shows/terminator-the-sarah-connor-chronicles/Just to add that UK viewers can watch these two 25 minute specials online at the above link. They are potentially spoilery if you know what to look for. Great interviews with most of the cast (Thomas, Summer, BAG, Richard, Garrett, Shirley but no Lena ) And Summer Glau? Whoa. ;D I'd say it's definitely worth keeping watch to see if the vids appear elsewhere. Really enjoyed them - oh - and nice cameo from The Evil Eel!

I liked both specials. The behind the scenes was my favorite. There were a few spoilers that I won't mention. Don't want to ruin it for anyone. I was really impressed by how friendly Richard Jones and Brian Green were. They seem like guys you'd love to just hang with and watch a game. Dekker is the typical class clown, and very much an extrovert. Summer is shy and sweet.
Lena didn't grant an interview. She was right there on the set. They even filmed her at the buffet line. But no interview. Very weird.
I loved the interviews with the special effects guy and the Digital effects guy. Very interesting interviews. Josh gave an interview and he was interesting, but he didn't give away any secrets.

Gotta love what Summer Glau was wearing in the BTS special, she really has got that ability to go from plain jane to vamp down pat.

I liked Garret's reaction in the BTS when the tv host gave him an impromptu shoulder rub. It took him by surprise. He seems like a really nice guy when he's not in character.

For those who would like to download the videos, there are a number of standalone software utilities that can download videos from various video sites. Do a Google - make sure you add the phrase "freeware" or you'll get a ton of shareware utilities that cost money. There are freeware utilities to do this.
You can also get a couple browser extensions for Firefox that can do this. I use one called "DownloadHelper" which can usually grab most videos being shown in the browser if the actual link is anywhere on the page.
I managed to download both these videos using Firefox and DownloadHelper. Which is good because the videos do a LOT of buffering during playback through the browser. Now I can watch them uninterrupted in my Linux media player.

My husband is the one that is tech savvy I just get on here for the Sarah Connor Chronicles. You know you can't be to careful after all they are machines. lol
