From Spoiler TV: Jesse flashes back to a life-altering mission aboard her submarine, the Jimmy Carter. Sarah and John decide they can’t continue living in their house and make plans to leave in the “Today is the Day (Part 1 of 2)” episode of TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES airing Friday, March 13 (8:00-9:01 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (SCC-218) (TV-14 V) link. WTF? Plans to leave that house? I hope it's not a tease. I hate that house! It's way too nice for the Connors. Really, I think I just miss the old house and they can't go back there cuz it got burnt up. Maybe they can find another old rundown house with a prominent hot water heater and a swing set out back!

I'd seen rumors a few months ago that Josh was looking into ways of bringing Busy Phillipps back as Kacy. I guess that won't be happening now. It's a shame because I've been a fan of Busy Phillipps ever since Dawson's Creek. Kacy was one of the bright spots in Season 2.

Co-sign to the freakin' max. I seriously hate the new house. I really miss the old one, it's really nostalgic to me. I also wonder what this means for Derek... Oh, and does this mean Riley is the one to get the axe in "Ourselves Alone"? I think it was confirmed a female co-star of Summer's dies in that episode.

Plans to leave that house? I hope it's not a tease. I hate that house! It's way too nice for the Connors. I love the house! Don't leave the house, it's so beautifully lit and everyone looks shiny in it I love the incongruity of the Connors living somewhere so normal and well furnished and homely and then having Terminators storming through bedroom doors and freedom fighters bleeding on the hardwood and Sarah sitting on a gorgeous porch listening to her son telling a stranger that his mom never wants him to feel safe. I hated the old house. Dingy, dated, nasty wallpaper. Ick. I know it's the more likely place for them to be living - slightly more off the grid and all that - but it did make for some nasty cinematography! BTW - are they intentionally being obtuse with the write-up for this one? Cos stretching it to a two-parter might be interesting... I can imagine the cliff-hanger now: Will Sarah fit all her clothes and all her guns into one case... or will she have to use two?! Will they decide to rent again or - with the market in the doldrums - will they bite the bullet and get a mortgage?! Will the Connors get their damage deposit back when Kacey realises there's a new window in the patio door, a new door on the kid's room, a new safe installed in the floor, blood stains on the hardwood and a whole lot of messy writing in the garage... Most importantly, will anyone remember to take a Polaroid of the blood wall before they hose it all down?!

Early on, that's what I thought I might like about it — the contrast of ooo pretty house to ONE MESSED-UP, ROBOT-FIGHTIN' FAMILY. But it never worked for me. Aside from the "Enjoy Relax Dream" thing on the wall, there's nothing I like about that house. But you know what it might be? They never congregate anywhere. In the old house there was a lot of kitchen moments and we've gotten precious few of those this season. It just doesn't feel like they belong there. I hated the old house. Dingy, dated, nasty wallpaper. Ick. I know it's the more likely place for them to be living - slightly more off the grid and all that - but it did make for some nasty cinematography! If 3 finger smudges mean something, then the way bloody soldier dotted an "i" could too I'm wondering if John will refuse to leave since he just spent all that time fixing up his room! And please, if they do leave, can we hear: "One bag, plus the guns. I'll make pancakes" again for old times' sake?

The question is why do Sarah and John consider leaving their current house? Is it that they are forced to because crazy Cameron has done something stupid in "Ourselves alone" and now there are paths to the Conners?

Will John let his mom and Derek convince him to destroy Cameron?

Jesse's face is busted up in the preview pics (up thread). She'll have to make up some story for Derek. Things make more sense now that Ep 17 aired.
Jesse looks rattled in that pic. Killing someone shouldn't bother a rebel fighter. I'm curious to see this scene play out. I think Jesse will tell Derek about her experiences on the sub.
It's obvious now why they are moving. Social Workers are even more tenacious then Terminators. The Baums need a new identity and a new house.

Will John let his mom and Derek convince him to destroy Cameron? If he does, we won't have much of a show left, now will we?

Maybe Sarah will take her own advise. She told Winston to do the unexpected. Maybe Sarah will rent one of those foreclosed Mcmansions or upscale Condos.
