Maybe it wants something besides just killing him, and he manages to escape somehow. He's an FBI guy after all. Me too! Besides Ellison is the only link between Weaver and the Connors. Replacing him would mess things up. Not saying it wouldn't be exciting.

Well, I gotta admit, I didn't see that Ellison/Terminator bit coming.

Interesting clips, thanks for pointing this out! The first clip is really startling. Besides a nightmare, it could also be the T1001 having a bit of fun with him - she can take the shape of anything she has "sampled" and I guess she could have touched Ellison at some point. I quite like Jody (as a character), her conversation with Cromartie is fun. I fear she will come to a bad end though, not necessarily at the hands of Cromartie, I could see Cameron or Sarah killing her when they see her as a threat.

you want Jody AND Riley to die so you can have John for yourself hahahah j/k sorry had to. Dont know you to joke like that, but i was set up hahaha Hee! I like 'em a leeeetle older than John, thanks much, considering my baby is about the same age... ;D I find Riley annoying - and it's funny, we haven't seen that much of her, but my take is that her quirkiness and ability to lead John around like a puppy will result in nothing but trouble. Jody is a 'red shirt' already - fodder for crossfire, but I do like her attempted conversation with Cromartie. Jesse - she is really annoying. There are way too many people coming back in time, and that makes for much too much frelling with the time line of the future. Besides, she's messin' with Derek's head, and that cannot be good. woohoo im older than John hahhah/ j/k Yea i think its odd that Riley talks to John as if they knew each other forever. Unless she has family problems and can scenes John does and clicked. Other that than, she can go back to being Lilly on AMC LOL Jody just seems like a basket case. They might keep her to evolve her relationship with Cameron Jess annoys me. How can Derek chase her, catch up, look at each other "hey baby" make out and then do it? not realistic or believable. So its Derek you like? hahah Maybe it wants something besides just killing him, and he manages to escape somehow. He's an FBI guy after all. Me too! Besides Ellison is the only link between Weaver and the Connors. Replacing him would mess things up. Not saying it wouldn't be exciting. i agree tom

The preview pics look very interesting. Jewelry Mayoreo is that a pawnshop?? I know vender al mayoreo is a wholesale supplier. That would be a logical place to check for stolen items.

Bout time Derek puts his foot down with regards to lil John Connor being such a complete sap. The sooner the writers bite the bullet and realise that constant time travel allows them to send unlimited amounts of experienced soldiers back in time the better. By doing this they can write John Connor out of the whole franchise completely.

Wow, Derek's comments about John are very similar to fan comments on the boards. John's angst this season is even more irritating then his emo persona last season. Nice to finally hear a character express the fans frustration. Why would Sarah possibly think a Doctor is a common house burglar? That's a little nuts. You don't slap around citizens making six figures. That can bring serious police heat. Moishe is mentioned in both vid clips. Apparently Jesse somehow gets Derek dragged into a dispute with him. Then that leads to a burglary at the Connor's house. Andrew Ableson plays Moishe in the next 3 episodes. us.imdb.com/name/nm0008813/

Personally I appreciate they are taking the maybe unpopular but IMO a lot more realistic route with John. People expect a movie action figure instead he is a messed up boy going through a crisis at a very vulnerable age.

The problem I've always had is not how John Connor is portrayed in the series but rather his continued existence within the series at all. The manner in which Connor is currently being portrayed is as some have pointed out very realistic under the circumstances. I'm not that old that I don't remember what it was like to be a teenage boy. However what I've always hoped for from this series was an acceptance by the Producers of the rather contrived nature of the John Connor Canon.
To a wider audience TSCC runs the risk of simply being seen as filler to create a level of interest in a dormant franchise before the arrival of Christian Bale & T4 next year. Well what better way for TSCC to genuinely break free of the shackles than to kill off John Connor. By doing this it opens up the possibility of an alternate future resistance without him. If you really wanted to push the boat out you could have Sarah Connor finding herself adopting the role that she always believed was destined for her dead son.
Either way the continued slavish devotion to what is perceived as Terminator Canon will do little to attract new viewers to the franchise. All the Producers are doing at the moment is tip-toeing along an effectively pre-ordained path so as not to upset the hardcore fanboys of the franchise. In effect TSCC is doing little more than preaching to the choir while paying little attention to the naysayers outside.

It's ironic that criminals cause the Connors more trouble than Terminators. Enrique wanted to sell them out to the FBI. Sarkissian nearly blew Cameron to pieces and then did a house invasion. Now Moishe is causing problems.
I like seeing human villains. It makes sense because Sarah is living on the fringes of society. She has to interact with criminals to get ID, guns and other stuff. It makes the show more interesting with criminal and terminator villains.

One of the themes of the series is "it's in your nature to destroy yourselves." Sooner or later, they're going to have to question whether the human race is worth saving.
