I just can't see Fox doing that. They invested too much money into the show for season 1. It's doing too well across the board in multi-media ratings wise. AND they're going to try to launch 2 more sci-fi shows next season DOLLHOUSE and FRINGE - if they expect ANYONE to tune in to see them - they have to show that they're willing to stick w/ TSCC.
Luckily most of their pilot deals went down the toilet due to the strike so their fall options are limited. TSCC has a LARGE cult following. 8 million viewers a week is HUGE for a cult following. Think about it JERICHO gets about 4, Smallville 3-5, BSG only 1-1.5...The iTunes sales are helping to pay for the episodes right away for TSCC. I can't see how they can afford NOT to renew it.

If they are stupid enough to drop the show Warner should just put it on the CW and pair it with Supernatural. That would kill on Tuesday nights!
They need something profitable other than Tyra Banks on the struggling network and a hard edged sci-fi show to pair with the butt kicking guys would make a killer line up!
And Fox could then forget ever having anyone watch another sci-fi show on their network ever ever again!

Definitely. How much it'll connect to the Connors v. connecting to a murderer who stole someone's eyes is a little up-in-the-air. The FBI might not immediately connect him to the Connors. I do expect Ellison to keep his mouth shut about the robots (he's seen what happens when you blab), but he's going to have to have an answer as to why he's alive and what happened. Well, Cromartie was in the FBI snooping for the Sarah Connor case. The guy in the archives must remember him, if not keep a record. I wouldn't expect them to start believing Sarah is alive, but they'd definitely reopen the case to see what the connection is.

Aw, man, don't put it on Tuesday, I don't want to have to choose between House and TSCC. Put it on Mondays at 9pm on NBC after Heroes. NBC is desperate for something good to stick in that timeslot that won't lose half of Heroes' lead-in numbers. Selling it to NBC could get extra revenue if NBC puts re-runs on the Sci-Fi channel, which they own. They could either re-show first-run eps later the same week (like they did for Heroes) or in blocks during network hiatus periods such as summer.

I was referring to Supernatural66's suggestion a few posts above to move TSCC to the CW network and pair it with Supernatural. Assuming that the more-violent TSCC would be the later show, it would indeed then end up opposite House in the Chicago market.

Oh alright, but I don't know about that. Supernatural is pretty violent and gory especially this season. It's very much the odd duck at the CW.

Just get yourself a DVR. Then it doesn't matter when or where it's on! My husband and I are set up so we can actually handle 4 shows simultaneously. What can I say... TV is important to us

We're stuck with Comcast Cable, who scramble everything. So the cable box only puts out one channel at a time. And last time we checked, they don't offer box/DVR combos in our zipcode yet.

Thanks to the girls at C&J.com for this lovely fuel to add to the Rumorville Season 2 pyre! Terminator: Barring Any Vats of Liquid Metal...It'll Be Back KRISTIN on E!Online Many of you have been asking about the fate of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, so I'm happy to report that barring any apocalyptic shifts at the Fox network, Terminator is very likely to return in the fall. Now, the official word from the network is, "No word yet regarding season two. Fox usually announces returning shows in May around upfronts." However, in addition to some scuttlebutt that came our way yesterday saying production is set to resume in mid to late June, star Thomas Dekker told me at last night's American Idol party he was feeling pretty good and is "pretty sure" the new season will happen. According to Dekker, the producers are currently pitching second-season stories to the network. When asked if he gets sick of people asking whether or not John and Cameron will have a romance, Dekker laughed and said he actually likes it! He thinks the idea of a human and a robot having that sort of relationship is interesting and cool and added that fans should "wait until the second season, because some really great stuff is planned—all those questions will be answered!" And yes, that's a direct quote—he was speaking as if season two were already a done deal. Source

Good news from the mouth of Dekker. You know good things are moving, when one of the cast is babbling away about it happily thus leading to us babbling away happily about it.
June for production. Just hope that Fox doesn't hold out on us and hold off until the Spring again for the new season.
