Honestly, I can't say I'm concerned at all, when the teaser trailer and the Comic Con footage already do the Future War justice as it is.

There was barely anything to go off of in the trailer (and I have not seen the comic con footage), but I'm sure that's not even enough to have people sold on the flick. I'd still like to know more about the plot and I just have an uneasy feeling after Arnold's and James's comments. However, I'll try to be as optimistic as possible and of course, I still have hopes that this can be a good film.
I'm just really, really skeptical so far.

Give it time. Their being vague to build up the suspense on the film, which just my take it's working well. But I'm pretty much in the same boat as Ross with all the info and scene-for-scene breakdowns in both the Comic Con footage and the teaser trailer. Thus far all signs are good.

Is Helena Boham Carter out of the picture??? Didn,t get the latest on that.... No, not as far as I remember. They were giving her time to deal with the loss of her family members before returning to production.

This just showed up on Joblo.com: www.joblo.com/arnold-back-in-t4Arnold back in T4? Sep. 10, 2008 Source: Latino Review Buzz up!vote now by: Omar Aviles Arnold Schwarzenegger, Christian Bale It seems people refuse to believe that Arnold Schwarzenegger won't be appearing in the upcoming McG directed, Christian Bale starring TERMINATOR WITH THE STUPID TITLE. First, there were rumors that he would be reprising his role from the previous films, then he was just gonna cameo and then he was just gonna be mentioned or something. Now, someone sent "Latino Review" some information that Schwarzenegger's character would be back, motion captured by another actor with Schwarzenegger's face being plastered on said actor and Arnie providing the voice over in post. Here's exactly what the scooper said: I have various contacts in WB and from what i've been told the fans are in for a treat. The premise of Arnie's involvement is to have a fully rendered digital face of Arnie replacing the recently cast Roland Kickinger (The Younger version of Arnie). It seems the Director Mc G will no doubt try all he can to ensure the Governator has some sort of involvement and as a result Arnold was on set providing key ADR (Voice over) for the visual effects guys to reference during post production. The scooper offers the picture to the right (which you can click through to see in full) as proof that he was on set. So he couldn't just be visiting the set considering the Terminator is a character he helped make iconic and thrust him into international superstardom? No, that's not…no? Ok, he's there to record voice over to go with a digital rendering of his face on a younger actor playing his iconic character from the previous films. Definitely. Read the rest of the report over HERE . TERMINATOR: WILL HE OR WON'T HE? opens May 22nd of next year. Other than having Arnie's Model 101 coming off an assembly line, I'm not sure how they are going to do this. At the end of T3, as the Terminator was holding up the blast doors at Crystal Peak, he told John "We will meet again". In the aftermath of the bombs, his endoskull was seein amidst the ashes, eyes still red, then slowly fading out. Hmm.

Wow, I hope that's legit. I was against this idea at first, but could you imagine if these rumors are true? Could you imagine if the Linda Hamilton rumors are true as well?
You'd be looking at a movie that has Christian Bale, Sam Worthington, Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Linda Hamilton.
That'd be so amazing.

James Cameron slammed this film again, though. He took a shot at McG, saying something like "I wonder if the guy who made Charlie's Angels can make a Terminator film", but he was so sarcastic.
I have to go with JC on this. I think everyone should, really. McG is under a lot of pressure and I'm pulling for the guy. Despite my negative opinions on him, I'm still hoping this is a great film. I just feel he warrants the criticsm due to his past work.

If the LH rumors are true I am there with bells on; I am already thrillled with the casting of Christian, Anton and Moon. I can't imagine the amount of squee that will be had if Linda Hamilton shows up.

The catch is judging on past works slants a view from the start. The past works may not even reflect on the current work's development and/or process, so in the end its basically unfair to judge based on the previous work. Sure, one can pull minor things from it, but fact of the matter is each work is pretty much its own thing.
If Cameron is going to complain about the other directors working on his creations then he should have stepped up to the plate and took on the new Terminator films, but he isn't and in my opinion that really doesn't help his case. Don't get me wrong I'm a fan of his but the Terminator franchise is out of his hands by his own choice. So the series is going to go the way the studio owners choose to allow it to go with the help of the directors/writers and producers of their choosing.
Personally, I've enjoyed the franchise without Cameron in tow. Mostow may have made a few mistakes but T3 was still decent enough and it moved the series towards the new one with Bale in tow. Even the very show we're surrounded around came to be without Cameron except for the creation of the two movies.
