Make sure to get the Word out to all of your friends and family to catch TSCC tomorrow night, or at least DVR it.
I'm hoping the Ratings start to increase in the next few weeks..

AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! tvbythenumbers.com/2008/09/23/early-ratings-dancing-loved-heroes-sarah-connor-and-denny-crane-not-so-much/5261Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles pulled a 3.9/6, which at least in the metered markets was better than Prison Break’s 3.6/5. Edit: On the plus side, we did beat Prison Break, and Heroes was only 6.4/10, I was expecting that one to be a lot bigger. I really hope FOX takes all this into account.. Edit #2: Heroes 9p-11p: 9.89 million (ouch, but it still performed very very well in the 18-49 demo ~5.0) TSCC: 5.816 million (2.3 in 18-49 demo) 2.5 Men: 14.926 million (5.3 demo) Gossip Girl: 3.35 million CSI Miami: 16.866 million w/a 5.1 in the demo DWTS: 21.12 million from 8p-10p/5.4 in demo

I'm not sure this is the right time for such a dark and depressing show. Here on the gulf we've already dealt with two major hurricanes in 3 weeks. I lost power both times. The economy is in a shambles. People are worried.
TSCC is so darn depressing. That dining room scene last night is still nagging at me 12 hours later. It seemed so totally hopeless.
It doesn't seem like TSCC will ever get high ratings. People are depressed enough already. Fans watch tv to escape from the misery of everyday life.
The movies were dark too. But at least Sarah won the battles at the end.

haha of course its better than prison snakes. I hate that show. I don't think Terminator is depressing. It has hope. Whoever is getting depressed by this show is really not watching it. It makes me excited when I watch it.
Don't listen to the media guys.

I think the fact that it rose in numbers against the big HEROES premiere has to be seen as a good thing.
Heroes - ouch to those numbers.
I swear looking at the Nielsen numbers - I wonder if more and more Nielsen "families" aren't actually old...seriously the younger, hip sci-fi shows have GOBS of viewers but those numbers NEVER reflect in the ratings. Boring stuff like CSI etc get huge ratings that appeal to older audiences.

Heroes is very down from last year. That's a big hit for them. I remember them getting 10mil+ an episode and now they can't even get that for the season premiere. I'm only giving Heroes one more episode before it loses me because, frankly, this season sucks so far in the first two episodes.
EDIT:
Also, what I've been trying to tell a lot of folks. Ratings are down almost everywhere. I think only 2.5 Men kept it's normal viewership from last season from what I've seen. Internet + Strike + Natural Disasters = Depressed Viewer Numbers.

I still wish it would get back into the 7 million range, but this has to be good news considering the competition it was up against.
Seriously, Fox should move this show to a day where it doesn't have much competition and I guarantee it would go back up to 8 million, possibly 9 million viewers.
To pull in 5.8 million while going up against Heroes and MNF has to be an accomplishment.
Edit: Wow, it even went up against DWTS. Is Fox trying to sacrifice this show?

I think Dancing with the Stars. What I'd like to know is Who actually watches shows like that?

The ratings went up....against Heroes and Dancing...that in itself is impressive.
