For 02x01
Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles on Monday night targeted an audience of 6.34 million total viewers. While that marks a 10 percent drop in viewership from the first season finale, the show did top the 8 o’clock hour in the important 18-49 demo, even besting Deal or No Deal (the night’s most-watched program).
for 02x02
“Deal or No Deal” (5.7/9) won the 8 p.m. hour for NBC. Reruns of “The Big Bang Theory,” 4.0/6, and “How I Met Your Mother,” 3.6/6, put CBS in second. “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles” earned a 3.5/6 for FOX, edging a showing of the movie “Batman Begins” on ABC. “Gossip Girl,” 2.5/4, drew its best ratings of the young season for The CW.
FOX and CBS tied for the lead among adults 18-49, each earning a 2.2 rating. ABC took third in the demographic with a 1.9, followed by The CW, 1.8, and NBC, 1.7.

People should be worried. If only it were in the 7 - 8 million region.

The football game killed everyone, especially shows that skew young and male. The Cowboys-Eagles game got something like 17.52 million viewers.

Football + hurricane displacement of a HUGE marketplace = bad ratings. The fact that the show got what it did was pretty good.
I'm still getting back onto my soapbox - this show should be on SUNDAY nights.

Agree entirely with both of you.

SNF would still kill it, especially with the flex schedule it gets once Playoff teams start to align.
I'd much rather have this show on either tuesday, wednesday, or even thursday.
Fox should have known that no cable TV programs can compete with football, it never has.

I'm hoping FRINGE is low tonight, hopefully also a result of Hurricane-related issues.
Doesn't FOX also have a history of tinkering with timeslots when a show is not performing up to their expectations?

Ah, y'know, the best advice I got today was not to talk about the ratings - they're like scared, shy forest animals and all the loud discussion startles them.

I agree that the show should be on Sunday nights, but Fox isn't gonna do that. For them, Sunday is the night for Simpsons, Family Guy, American Dad, etc. Also, Sunday Night Football would be a tough fight... They could move it to a different night sometime soon. If it goes to Friday night or something odd, it's all over for sure. Tuesday and Wednesday will be dominated by Idol at midseason...Sadly, Monday or Firday is the only time Fox will probably pick from. I hate to say it, but my hopes are getting closer to being non-existent.

To all who have Blogs, Facebook or whatever social circle thingie going on out there which you are in, please leave PROMINENT TERMINATOR: SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES markers! Create a link to the forum AND the official site. People will take notice and explore, sooner or later. As with the visual effects, this is very effective!
To all of us who use laptops at work or school, put a TERMINATOR: SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES poster with the title CLEARLY visible as your wallpaper. People will start to take notice. They will be tempted to find out more of Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles one day and tune in to see what Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles is all about.
Spread this message to other TSCC forums please
WE MUST SAVE THE SHOW

Grrr - this is why I wish that they'd held off on premiering it until after baseball was over. We're getting 5 eps then it's going on hiatus for a while until the baseball playoffs are done. Long breaks kill shows that are gaining momentum.
Then again I don't know where Fox is getting their numbers from - they're touting that FRINGE got 23 million viewers last week, however the Tuesday night ratings were only 9 million and the reair on Sunday didn't even crack the top 20 (which ended at 8 million) - so they obviously didn't kill on Sunday.
There must be other numbers that they're getting that are readily available for day after ratings that they're adding to that overall to know that the Nielsens aren't the only figures out there.
DVR numbers take like 4 weeks to come out so that can't be it.

They really need to promote the show. The actors have to go on talk shows more often. They film TSCC next to Jay Leno and Ellen DeGeneres. Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel, Craig Ferguson, Bonnie Hunt, Spike Feresten, and Chelsea Handler aren't that far away.

Lena and Shirley have/are going to be on Craig Ferguson and BAG was on Ellen yesterday.
I wish they'd get on Leno though.

We're getting 5 eps then it's going on hiatus for a while until the baseball playoffs are done. Long breaks kill shows that are gaining momentum. Well being in Australia and having absolutely zero interest in American sporting culture how long does this break last for thanks to the Baseball? Their not going to use the break as an opportunity to pull the show and hold the rest of the episodes until closer to the release date of T4 are they?

The playoffs all depend on how many games that they end up running. Usually it would mean though that TSCC will be back mid/late October. I don't have an exact answer. Any baseball fans here who could give a better answer for that question?
