Well here are the ratings. Not sure why we got a dip this week, but I'm sure that the DVR #'s and adjusted non-Nielsens will crank that number up in the end.

Its really depressing reading the ratings going lower and lower. So heres some good ratings I found. The show seems to be doing well in Canada. I think these are for Queens Gambit. www.mediaincanada.com/articles/mic/20080225/bbm.htmlCTV's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles at 9 pm climbed six spots to #18 with 1.111 million (up from 1.043 million) against Global's House, which hit #29 with 908,000.

Ratings might be down but at the same time - we got more hits on MOAD yesterday than we've ever had before - go figure.

Demon Hand was up against the heavily-hyped Puff Daddy version of "A Raisin in the Sun", which probably did quite well. I know the rest of my family out-voted me so I wasn't able to tape the ep and had to watch it on the kitchen TV instead. Grrr.

Sorry to hear that man.
I actually got out of work early to see the episode. I was that determined to get to watch it and I very seldom get out of my job early.

Humm I'm guessing this is for the full 2 hours and they didn't register to 2 separate episodes.

Well if TSCC shows anything - they're CONSISTENT with their ratings. Whatever reason people left last week, they were back this week. The show has what has to be an extremely loyal fanbase, let's just hope that Fox sees the potential in this and allows that base to grow for next season.

I think Fox if they paying attention will know that they can't afford to cancel this show.
If they do they know there will be no END to the ammount of adverse reaction that will be coming to them from fans of the series.

Well they're getting consistent ratings. Next season they're going to be bringing on 2 sci-fi shows DOLLHOUSE & FRINGE - both of which they're only going to get viewers from if they already have a sci-fi fanbase on their network.
If they cancel TSCC they will forever turn off a huge batch of sci-fi fans from ever watching their network. NOT a good move.
I think that there's a lot of folks who were reluctant to watch BECAUSE the show was on FOX. If they renew for season 2, those folks will likely buy the DVDs and become new viewers. Next season the ratings will go up.

The biggest thing on our side...lets see beside
Continuing Improvement- Excellent writing Excellent acting- Excellent directing. And Excellent and Stable ratings.
Is the simple fact...that its name is TERMINATOR: Sarah Connor Chronicles
And you're right...noone will tune in to see Sci-Fi if they haven't catered to the SF base...and cancelling this series would seriously put that in Jeapordy.
I'm only giving New Amsterdam a Glimer of hope...if the pilot doesn't grab me...I'm done with it.

I'm not sure how the ratings are going in Australia Erika.
it ticked me off that they pushed it back two weeks after airing up to ep3. I despise the channel 9 network for getting TSCC (ch 10 should of got it) because ch 9 loves sport/news and crime/drama shows and they put stuuupid cricket on in its place (8:30pm Tuesdays) which they've done to other great shows for the past couple or more decades. I mean WTF? its a new series and they do that?? They stuck T3 on at 10pm (though it was 27 minutes late) on last Sunday night, they should of stuck on T2 instead to get people in the mood. I've hardly seen any promotion for the show here, except for an interview with Thomas & Summer on 9 News, and the advertisement that said "18 million viewers in the US tuned in for the pilot" . . . . *frustrated sigh*

correct, and same here in Adelaide, I just dont get Nine, they got balls out to promote something and then the cricket takes over, thank god for mininova downloads.
Network nine did the same with the Sopranos, put it on so late that nobody would watch it, but we still get funniest home videos on prime time...WTF.
am trying to get ratings for sarah in Aust, the show is a hoot and should be promoted, and agreed 10 should have got it.

Written by yours truly.... TSCC Mid-Season Ratings ChampionIn a midseason mired with reality shows & lack-luster filler shows, Fox’s Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles has come out on top as the ratings champ winner. The Hollywood Reporter states that about the only show to show any real legs was Eli Stone and that was mostly in part to it being the lead in for Lost. “The drama Eli Stone, which airs against Lipstick Jungle has given lukewarm returns with a 3.0 average. Still, the network is creatively pleased with the show, and “Stone” looks likely to return next season.” Fox’s other new shows failed to impress audiences. According to The Hollywood Reporter, “Fox recently threw four other shows against the wall that have largely failed to stick: the comedies The Return of Jezebel James and Unhitched and the dramas Canterbury’s and New Amsterdam. Canterbury’s (1.7 average) was pushed from its Monday slot to Friday after two episodes. Jezebel James (1.1) won’t return after getting pulled off the schedule. Unhitched (2.3) is struggling on Sundays amid Fox’s animated comedies, which post higher numbers in repeats than Unscripted does in originals. “I didn’t want to have anything left in the cupboard in case something surprised us,” said Preston Beckman, executive vp strategic program planning at Fox. “In the case of ‘New Amsterdam,’ we have evidence the show is catching on among viewers and we hope to see that translate into ratings.” In comparison, they noted that Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles “remains the highest rated of the midseason scripted flock with a 4.5 average and is likely to return next fall.” So rather like Lena’s take that the show was ‘the prettiest girl in the bar’ - when the numbers were all examined in closer detail, TSCC did far better than the other offerings this winter and has likely earned it’s right to be on the Fall 2008-2009 schedule. When the full non-Writer’s Strike season is in full swing and it’s pitted against the other network’s regularly scheduled programming, we’ll have to wait on pins and needles to see how TSCC can fair in the real ratings battle. Fox will need to do some creative, fancy footwork to help to keep Terminator on top. A part of what makes Heroes a continued success for NBC is the vast amount of online content that they offer to their viewers on their website, from special comics, to videos, to massive photo galleries - NBC keeps the interest high for their show even when it’s not on the air. Terminator could flourish from having more exclusive online content available before and after each episode airs. The Alpha Marketer reported that TSCC brought in a 101% increase to unique web hits to the Fox site during the time that it aired. Fox needs to use that to it’s advantage. Many people were confused over some of the dropped storylines from this season, like what was going on at the High School. Extra non-FX driven scenes from the show, like the High School stuff that tends to slow down the live episodes can be moved online to create special mini-web episodes and provide exclusive, cool content for Fox’s site. With the viewers of this show being extremely techno-savvy, that would be a great way to draw viewers onto their website and to possibly get them to explore the other offerings that Fox has available on their network. Also, Fox should consider repeating each week’s episode on their cable channel FX or on a dead night of the week like Saturday. Then when they’ve built up a handful of episodes, run TSCC marathons on the weekends on FX. People will watch them and this will bring more viewers to their network. At the very least they should advertise TSCC heavily on their cable channels. Luckily Fox and Warner Brothers have been behind releasing Terminator onto all of the online viewing options - be that FoxonDemand, Hulu, or available for download on iTunes and Amazon Unboxed. Reports are coming from multiple sources that the show will see a second season, we’ll just have to see if Fox can continue to think outside the box and provide more options to keep the show in the ratings running. With the show having already received three Saturn Award nomination, the sci-fi community has already embraced the show and even though it’s no longer on the air is still getting plenty of chatter from word of mouth. Hopefully Warner Brothers will get the DVDs out soon so that Terminator’s audience can explode before the series returns next fall.
