Seems unlikely. Even though the episodes are more self contained this season. There are enough things that pass from one to the next.

Dangit...not of the one that I really need a Close Up of course. The one with Cromartie in the bowling alley, I presume? I grabbed the web sized pics from FOX and they didn't have it there either. Not sure why that one's not available.

Heh. Never fails. The one picture that's gonna gnaw at you until the next episode is the one they don't release.
So, I'm gonna have to see how this robbery thing works out - after Sarkissian and co's visit, I expect them to be a little more concerned about human predators.
The photo description seems to indicate that the bowling alley is where the thieves hangout... what could someone steal that could lead Cromartie to the Connors?
Meanwhile, anyone else having fun imaging Sarah's face if she came home to cops crawling all over Camp Connor 2? How well to they hide their guns when they go out?

This is precisely why these clowns need to stop pretending to be some sort of "normal" people and GO UNDERGROUND FOR REAL.
They need a BASE, they need some SERIOUS security instead of just a freakin' alarm system (a lot of good that does against a Terminator who just smashes his way into the place!), they need protective vests, they need medical assistance (Charley), they need more money, more hardware, more intel, more of everything - especially more ATTITUDE.
Meanwhile, John is staggering around suspected of being a suicide case, Sarah is useless at dealing with it, Derek is a PREVIOUS suicide case, and we've got a "rogue Resistance fighter" who's obviously been doing surveillance on the Connors and lying to Derek's face while seducing him with pillow talk. This is turning into a soap opera.
I'm not sure I can take any more incompetence from this crowd. At least Cromartie has some FOCUS on his mission!

I think all the issues they've been dealing with is fine. They are HUMANS and have emotions and feelings and will have a difficult time dealing with things. But, I do agree that their base of operations need to be smarter and they need to start organizing and preparing for the war instead of JUSt trying to stop it. They should be doing both.

Having a base with real security and so on will only get them caught in the real world.

Yeah, well, Osama bin Laden doesn't seem to be having that problem.
Or to take some one closer to civilization and under constant threat by a nearby powerful country, Hibzallah's Hassan Nasrallah. Nasrallah would be assassinated in ten minutes if Israel ever knew where he was. And they have spies everywhere in Lebanon. Yet he survives. He has an organization to protect him and he takes major precautions. This is the sort of thing John and Sarah need to be doing and/or building.
We're really talking basic tradecraft here. Doing what they're doing now is how they can get caught in any one of a hundred ways. I mean, they're still living next door to their landlady who has an LAPD cop for a boy friend! I mean, Jesus! That's nothing short of blindingly stupid!
Derek's hanging out in parks and the like - with his mug on some LAPD cop cruiser's LCD screen wanted for the murder of Andy Good. Does this guy have a clue?
I'm not talking about them building some James Bond fortress in downtown. I'm talking about them getting some building somewhere where they can hang out, don't have a lot of people dropping or driving by, someplace anonymous where they can keep their comings and goings mostly unnoticed.
Terrorists who operate in small cells DO try to blend in with their surroundings and operate like normal people. But that's to avoid being detected and then actively hunted. The Connors already ARE actively hunted - by Terminators and the FBI. It's too late to try to "blend".
There is only one way to avoid capture when you are being hunted by local, state and Federal authorities - and that is 1) to be unknown , i.e., your identity and your appearance is not known at all - too late for the Connors to do this; 2) you are mobile and nobody ever knows where you are - the Connors aren't mobile enough, OR you have a secure base which cannot be connected with you; and 3) you have overwhelming local firepower against the likely level of forces which you might confront accidentally - the Connors do have that capability in Cameron and their hardware exceeds what an individual cop or patrol car would carry.
The Connors need either to get more mobile or get a secure base somewhere - or both, actually. They also need to disguise themselves when out of that base and/or mobile, either by actual disguises or "role camouflage", i.e., they are dressed up as some innocuous member of society, the cable guy or whatever.
I studied the techniques of terrorism and crime for ten years in the past (don't ask why ;D). I know whereof I speak.
The Connors basic problem - both John and Sarah - is their inability to let go of their desire for some sort of "normal" life. This is seriously damaging their ability to prevent Judgment Day.

I'm pretty sure that the government thinks that Sarah, John, and Cameron are dead. I don't know if Derek is being hunted by the police since they don't have anything on him.
However, there are a lot of things that they should be doing to protect themselves. They really should change their appearance, at least dye their hair and wear caps and sunglasses when they go out. They should be monitoring the police channels to make sure that they stay in during periods of increased law enforcement activity. They shouldn't be going to grocery stores or malls. They shouldn't be driving new cars. But in the end, it wouldn't really pay off in terms of the plot.

Jeez stop trying to be practical/realistic, this is a series about killer robots from the future and a little boy who saves the entire human race. Just sit back and treat it as some harmless escapism, it's more fun that way. If you need a reality check try the evening News, Hollywood doesn't do reality, they only do make believe, nothing more.

Such a shame we have to wait another two dang weeks for another new episode! BLAH! But-- That promo sure looked awesome. I almost had myself convinced Ellison is the one to go bye bye but that fire fight could very well give Cromartie the red eye fade.
On the topic of Ellison it is good to see him finally talking to Sarah I was hoping these two would get together sooner or later especially after he found her reflection in that picture.
Needless to say I'll be eagerly pacing back and forth with anticipation.

Please read my entire post. I acknowledged the fact that those things would not pay off in terms of the plot.

Vicheron, I was taking the piss out of Hollywood, and the culture that surrounds the entertainment industry, not you. In fact for the record I'd much prefer a series more grounded in reality, I can only handle so much escapism before I quickly lose interest.

Umm, does anyone else notice the dead guy NEXT to Cromartie? Kinda looks like Ellison... maybe? Nah, I think that's a random bowler (and a white guy with a shadow across his face) [glow=blue,2,300] MOD NOTE: Racial stereotyping is not necessary nor wanted. Please don't make statements even in jest. Consider this a first warning.[/glow] ;D I don't think it's Ellison tho.
