Mr. Ferguson is the name of the teacher Cromartie killed and replaced in the first episode. Yeah, and Cromartie used the phrase 'Mr. Ferguson is ill today' before he introduced himself to the class.

I'm sure that Mr. Ferguson had a bad case of lead poisoning.

Just a note: Sarah's dreams are most emphatically not supernatural in nature in this episode. Glad to hear that. Supernatural isn't really in line with the whole feeling of the show, so far.

Thanks. That makes sense but I guess but for the smart ones like yourself who remembered that, didnt that kind of give away who was going to die in the episode? I guess we all figured it would be Cromartie anyway.

The pics of Richard Schiff on spoilertv site are the only promos (so far) for that subplot. He was tied up and being questioned by Derek and Jesse. You think this will be a very minor subplot? The diamond fence only got a few lines in Nablus. I'd like to see Richard do more than that. He is an Emmy winner and a fantastic actor. It seems like the buzz is all about Cromartie returning. I agree that is exciting, but maybe a little premature (he's barely cold in the ground). I'm a big West Wing fan and always get excited seeing Richard in anything. I hope they gave him an interesting part. Looks like Richard lost another argument with C.J. Craig (Allison Janney) ;D www.imagebam.com/image/20fdcf17167810

that was pretty trippy. but that pretty much confirms the clip from the first promo was just a dream of Sarah's.
I think, as prolly does everyone else that the turtle cam had was John, and Sarah fears Cameron's going to renig on her mission and fail to protect him, instead, handing him over to Skynet, ie, cromartie.
God, what's it gonna take for Sarah to finally trust Cameron? nothing short of Cam saving her life, it seems.

Very bizarre dream. Cameron breast feeding the baby turtle then bypassing Sarah to hand it to Cromartie? Uh... Can I haz nuclear nitmarz ensted?
BTW, the room with all the baby turtles is the living room of their previous house. I'm not sure if there's any significance to that.

I think the dream is about how Sarah is putting John's life in the hands of Cameron just like how the human race will put Skynet in charge of its fate. Remember, Skynet was created to protect the United States.

That was a supremely disturbing dream clip. As soon as Sarah walked into the incubator room, I knew Cameron was going to be in there doing something really frakking creepy. And there she was, bless her, with her creepiest smile too. Chelonian/cyborg breast-feeding FTW? Umm...... Cameron as mother of the Skynet future? I guess it's time to hit Wikipedia for the turtle connection.

Turtles?! WTF?? You gotta love a show that will now have people discussing the symbolic significance of a robot breastfeeding a turtle till the episode airs Anyone made out what the baby monitor is whispering at the start? "Get up Sarah, quick! Cameron's gone and nicked your turtle!"? No wonder Sarah's a woman on the edge if this is the kind of thing playing around in her subconscious...

Wow. That is almost 'Silent Hill' like. I think it's all closely linked to what happened in the last episode.
The turtle is John. In the previous episode Sarah tells Cameron, "I don't like the way he responds to you." One of her fears is that John will pull away from her and grow closer to Cameron who is often taking over Sarah's role of the "mother" by guiding him, like she tried to do, and being the guardian.
The other fear is from seeing Cameron's file in Cromartie's car which is evidence that Cameron, at least in part, led Cromartie to John. Hence we have Cromartie. And the fear Cameron will deliver John to Skynet.
Since the description suggests Sarah's nightmares creep into real life. I am going to guess and say if it's this nightmare, Sarah will end up having to watch John and Cameron grow closer.

And the fear Cameron will deliver John to Skynet. It's interesting that Cromartie had that picture of Cameron from the bank because when you think about it, Cameron may have made a mistake by having them jump forward in time. In the pilot episode, Cromartie did not recognize John until after he called John's name. That's probably because the FBI only had a picture of John from T2. However, because they broke into the bank, and the cell phone video of them after the time jump, there's an up to date picture of John "in the system."
