I was looking up the symbolic meaning of turtles and this came up;
"Ancient myths describe the world as resting on the turtle's back."
This fits John entirely, the way the world depends on him. If he dies, the world dies. I agree with the rest of you that Sarah is worried that Cameron will "raise" John and, that in the end she may give him over to Skynet. I don't think Cameron would do that even if her chip is messed up, but Sarah never did trust the machines.
Very creepy dream though.. damn I wish it was Monday. Dx

The other fear is from seeing Cameron's file in Cromartie's car which is evidence that Cameron, at least in part, led Cromartie to John. Hence we have Cromartie. And the fear Cameron will deliver John to Skynet. It's interesting that Cromartie had that picture of Cameron from the bank because when you think about it, Cameron may have made a mistake by having them jump forward in time. Wasn't the picture from the halfway house/police, from the incident in "Allison of Palmdale"? T101, interesting observations. The other nightmare of Sarah that may creep into her life (besides Cameron/John) is Cromartie; she saw him alive in her fears/dream, and in the real world his body will be gone.

I take it the many turtles represent humanity, or more specifically the future resistance. And Sarah and Cameron are dressed as nurses because they are "nursing" the future of humanity.
By the way judging from the promo there is another scene of Sarah and Cameron in nursing robes in what looks like the desert where they buried Cromartie.

That clip is freaking weird. Yeah, I think that I agree with what people are saying-- the turtle represents John, Sarah is worried that Cameron is going to take her place in John's life, and then hand him over to Skynet (Cromartie). Is poor Cameron ever going to catch a break? No matter what she does it seems like she's incapable of winning Sarah's trust.

Well, since they can't get Arnold to be in one of Sarah's nightmares, they'll just have to use Cameron.

The only thing that would have made that scene weirder would have been seeing Arnold breastfeeding a turtle.

But Arnold has had experience, remember, he played a pregnant man in "Junior" and his super smash, multi-billion dollar, box office phenomenon "Jingle All The Way" continues to entertain countless children all across the world.

Oddly enough, if it weren't for the bizzare and creepy context of the scene, I'd say there was actually something kind of sweet about seeing Cameron nursing the baby like that (well, before it turned into a turtle, at least). And even though this obviously has nothing to do with the scene's real meaning, in a more literal sense, I'm sure that "mommy Cameron" isn't something that Sarah would want to deal with any time soon. John: "But Mom, I thought you'd want to see your grandkids before you died?" Sarah: "Yes, but but not if their mother is a robot!";D

We are assuming it's only in the dream.
The BTS shots of Cromartie at Zeira Corp seem to suggest otherwise.

His body will very likely end up in Zeira corps basement, but a walking and talking Cromartie we won't see again, I suspect. Perhaps with something replacing his chip, but then it wouldn't really be Cromartie anymore.

Maybe they'll link him to the Turk so that it could talk through Cromartie.

Maybe they'll link him to the Turk so that it could talk through Cromartie. This is my current theory also.

The pictures seem to confirm something like that.
He sure seems to be alert and aware.

I have an interesting thought after rewatching the clip a few times. Sarah's in a pink robe sort of thing, very cute and all, but it's buttoned up and to the neck. Not very convenient if she's supposed to have a newborn. Cameron we see in a simple nursing shift, so it's easier to "feed" So I was thinking...what if that meant that Sarah sees Cameron as more able to give John what he "needs" then she is? That Cameron is more able to nurture his budding leadership skills and ego, and just overall person then she can as his mother? Just something small that I noticed.
and yeah I agree with everyone else, seeing Cam like that flips my tummy, but it's also sort of cute, in a very wrong way. lol.
