I have a suspicion we won't find out what happens about Riley and Jesse and John until at least this episode... Waaaah...Two months of waiting!

I have a suspicion we won't find out what happens about Riley and Jesse and John until at least this episode... Waaaah...Two months of waiting! Compared to nine months of waiting for LOST two months is a breeze. ;D I wonder if the "Good Wound" refers to Sarah being shot in the leg or Riley's likely unsuccessful suicide attempt. Not that the attempt is a good thing but maybe it is the catalyst that finally leads to some truth.

Yeah, pretty clearly "Good Wound" could apply to either if it leads to some healing on either Sarah or Riley's part.
Riley might actually come out of this conspiracy alive, at least if Sarah and John can keep Cameron off her. Jesse, on the other hand, not so much. Just about everybody including Derek is going to want to kill Jesse before this part of the plot is over.
Of course, if Riley is kept around around after the whole Jesse thing is resolved, that won't help Cameron much. Not unless John dumps Riley completely - which I suspect he might since the rule is "never get involved with someone who has more problems than you do" - and Riley pretty much does. John may feel sorry for her, but I don't think he's going to be interested in romancing her once her part in all this is revealed.
And that will make Cameron "happy". ;D In quotes, because as Cameron said, "I'm a machine - I can't be happy." Just satisfied, dear! ;D

Next season's preview that aired at the end of s2e13. spoilertv.blogspot.com/2008/12/sarah-connor-chronicles-new-year-promo.htmlSarah definitely survived. No sign of Riley. But, I'd bet a box of Christmas candy she's ok. ;D New Enemy... I hope that's true. It would be great to have Weaver's organization and also a different group building the HK. That will keep team Conner busy. ;D

I don't care about anything but KYLE! KYLE! KYLE! KYLE!
Damn they did an amazingly eerie job of making him look just like Michael Biehn.

Oh please - that man has NOT been used enough in this series it's about time that he shows up again, particularly paired w/Sarah....even if it is hallucinations or memories or whatever.

Well, if one is going to claim the future has changed and all the time lines are now different, there's no reason not to bring Kyle Reese back to the present? Sure, it means the show has jumped the shark, but that doesn't surprise me - the writers would think it was "cool". Actually I could see this working out, if it turns out that Kyle was sent back to a different time by future John because neither his past self or his mother could do anything right. As I said before, future John must be tearing his hair out at the mistakes his past self and his mother and Derek are doing. So Kyle - the only guy he REALLY trusts to get a job done - gets sent back to run a side operation that saves everybody from their own mistakes. Whether this happens before or after he gets sent back to be John's father is irrelevant once you've decided none of this makes any sense anyway. Maybe he sent Kyle back to kill Jesse after he found out that Jesse went missing from the future. That might explain what looked to me like Jesse trying to strangle Kyle at the end of the promo. I can't imagine it was Sarah trying to strangle him. I don't think Cameron's going to help Riley in the slightest. She was standing there with her smug expression as Riley was bleeding. After John dismissed her warning, she was proven right that there was something wrong with Riley two minutes later. Even for a robot that has to be satisfying. I'd would just LOVE to hear her say, "I told you so!" in that sweet voice she uses to be mean. You gotta love Cameron! ;D I almost missed the fact that Sarah has finally killed someone. Josh says it will "affect her". Just what we need, more moaning and crying about some clown getting killed. Dude shot her first, did she forget that? Now both Sarah and John are "killers". Cameron must be curling her lip while Derek rolls his eyes and Jesse would be snorting. Now let's see John and Sarah put some of that killing ability to work on Jesse. You watch, it will be left to Derek or Cameron to off Jesse. Can't afford to have the heroes of the show actually kill people. Are we assuming the motorcycle shooter and the guy who shot "Abraham" and the guy who shot Sarah are all one and the same? That would be neat and tidy. Where is everybody else this guy should be working for? I'm kinda irritated that these "conspiracies" tend to turn out to be two or three guys, like Sarkissian and his thug, fake Sarkissian and his thug, etc. They act like tough, important criminals, but then they go down in a heartbeat and nobody cares. No follow up, no further references. How about expanding the conspiracies so that there's fifty people the Connors have to take out? Guys with serious resources like the Russian Mafia or whoever. Make it bigger and more interesting. Just saw an article at The Register today: "DARPA aim to make killer robots invulnerable to damage" about how the military robots are being equipped with self-repair options. The article even quotes Kyle Reese: "They absolutely will not stop!" and mentions the Terminators being able to keep fighting no matter what. It says the following: The US military boffins in question, one need scarcely add, are those of DARPA - the agency believed to harbour the largest group of human quislings working for the future machine regime in the entire federal government. The Terminator show should move in that direction - how to stop the US government from building Skynet. Forget all these little conspiracies - go for the gold! The Connors should already be under intense pressure from the FBI, DIA, DHS, etc. Why not aggravate their problems by having them have to put down an entire multi-billion dollar government program to build Skynet. The T-3 movie went for that. Why not the series? It would raise a host of problems the Connors would have to deal with. You couldn't make it more intense than that - unless of course Skynet was already in control of the President or something which would be fun. Instead of tying themselves into knots with ridiculous time travel paradoxes, why not go the "24" route and see how big you can make the Connors enemies and the Skynet conspiracy? The producers talked about a "vast conspiracy" in a couple interviews in season one, but then we've seen neither hide nor hair of it - except for Weaver, who isn't exactly "vast".

Riley might actually come out of this conspiracy alive, at least if Sarah and John can keep Cameron off her. Jesse, on the other hand, not so much. Just about everybody including Derek is going to want to kill Jesse before this part of the plot is over. On condition that Riley tells the truth now, Cameron will have little or no reason to still see her as a security risk - since she already knows about all the future stuff anyway, and she has no family. She will want to go after Jesse, instead. Riley's mission of driving a wedge between Cameron and John would pretty much have failed by default if Riley tells the truth to John. I didn't see a smug smile on Cameron's face when she saw the bleeding Riley; her very first reaction seemed to be mild surprise, and her face was pretty neutral and very hard to read after that. I don't think she would show any possible satisfaction in front of John, anyway; she should understand John wouldn't appreciate that. And suicide is a touchy subject with Cameron herself as well.
