I keep hearing rumors that Sarah will get another kid to raise. Samantha would need a family if the T-1000 is destroyed. I'm not sure how fans would react to a kid in the Connor house. But, the rumor has been kicking around for months. Wasn't that just for the Martin Bedell episode?

I first saw the kid rumors after it was apparent Sarkissan would die in the opening episode. His kid was orphaned, but the writers ignored it. Maybe the kid in the Martin Bedell episode got fans confused. I still see discussions about Sarah and a new kid on different boards.
Savannah would be a unique case. I think she already knows about metal people. I'm not suggesting it's a good idea to throw a tyke into the Connor's house. Savannah is just the next potential orphan that the writers could use.
**update** corrected the kids name
Many Thanks Schmacky!! ;D

Theory time!
I'm predicting that it was Jesse that shot bloody future soldier as he was coming through time. I figure his coming through shot indicates that either the resistance's time machine facility was being overrun by metal or one faction of the resistance was fighting another at the moment future fighter went through. I'm opting for the latter. And while it could be "the greys" fighting, I tend to think they're more subversive info carriers, not a fighting force. So I think it's Jesse's group that was shooting.
I've been trying to figure out what Riley's deal is. We know she's working with Jesse and it seems her job is to get close to John and get him to reveal something. But what exactly she's trying to get John to reveal is unclear. So I'm thinking that Jesse wants to know if the bloody future fighter made it through time alive and successfully delivered his message (the blood wall info) to the Connors. And perhaps the most significant piece of info that Jesse's worried about is the 3 dots.

^ Good theories. Indeed Riley seemed to be put off by the fact John didn't tell her everything. Like she wants to know something. Of course the suggested answer is they are trying to get John away from Cameron's influence. But they've got to see that this wont work long term, Riley can't do it forever.

Riley's apparent mission is simply to turn his attention/affection away from Cameron. That he would be able to trust her enough to tell the truth about who he is and what is going one is but one part of reaching this mission. She just wants John to be close to her, to be his confidante, to be his girlfriend. Instead of Cameron fulfilling this role.

WonderCon 2009, February 27-March 1.
Is there going to be a T:SCC panel again this year?

Just went over to the WonderCon Web site - they don't say.
I could strangle myself for not knowing Summer Glau was going to be in San Francisco last year! I'm going to try to keep a much closer eye out this year!

I raised this question in the John/Cameron shipper thread today, but it's also a speculation for season 2 - or more likely Season 3 if there is one:
Does anybody think John and Cameron will have any overt physical relationship between them - such as at least one kiss - before season 2 - or again more likely season 3 - ends?
Or will the writers keep it more soulful looks from Cameron and nervousness from John?
I don't see it happening by end of season 2, but I CAN see the breakup of the Riley situation occurring by end of season 2, which then puts Cameron back on top and motivates her to continue to make moves on John - possibly more overt physical moves - to get him closer to her in season 3.
And if that happens, I foresee both Sarah and Derek going ape if and when they find out about it and causing a confrontation between John, Sarah and Cameron.
Or does anybody doubt that Cameron actually has that intention? I think the scenes in "Vic's Chip" and "Mr. Ferguson" pretty much demonstrate she does.
From the show's standpoint, it's best if that whole thing is kept ambiguous for a long time, but there's plenty of room for drama if Cameron keeps pushing John and John waffles on how to handle it and Sarah stays suspicious about Cameron and John. How it will end up never has to be specified, but they should bring that subplot back occasionally, especially if it has a connection to Cameron's hidden agenda.
We all pretty much don't like Jesse - but what if she turns out to be right? Just a thought. Personally I'd hate it if Jesse's view is how the writers treated the whole concept, but they might.

Purely IMO. The thrill is in the chase. I like watching Cameron push John's buttons and him being confused and conflicted about her. And that's how they'll keep it for a while.

Dekker said something in his interview at Horrorfest that intrigued me. He said, "If we go for a wonderful third new year, it's going to be like a whole new show."
That statement kind of scares and excites me at the same time.
What do you think he means by that?

I have to agree with you. "A whole new show" could mean a whole bunch of stuff.

Do we know who's going to be writing the season finale? Is it going to be Josh, or someone else?

Of course, depending on what he means, it could be a good change, but we have no idea about that.

Do we know who's going to be writing the season finale? Is it going to be Josh, or someone else? I'm sure it'll be Josh. He's got dibs on Pilots and Season Enders. I mean, he may not, but I'm sure it's his decision. And I can't imagine he'd give that up.
