Okay apparently I'm one of two things about the offfical Blog- A: Blind. B: Totally missing something important. That's got you all saying Sarah. The background picture is of Cameron, now. Not that implies in anyway that they are going to kill off Sarah, but I guess that's what they were referring to. I agree with T101: it's an ensemble show, Sarah needs to be the focus in some episodes but not in all or even most of them. I also agree with Allergygal that the main four will not be killed off.

I agree with myself: I wish they hadn't picked THIS show to be the first and only in the history of modern television (that I can recall) to have a title-character who is NOT the A-story protag of a majority of the episodes. Why not just call it Terminators in LA or Terminator and Resistance Follies? So, yeah, between "the title character who is not" and Cameron as the face of the Producer's blog... Watch your step, Sarah Connor.

Variety is good. Always (or at least in most cases) having the A-story revolve around Sarah would get old really fast, as the writers would run out of inspiration for this characters - while they may have still ideas for other characters. What's in a title anyway?

Always (or at least in most cases) having the A-story revolve around Sarah would get old really fast I had a nice long reply for this, but then I realised I was getting sucked into a debate about the merits of ensemble shows posing as title-character shows, rather than staying on-topic. So, nevermind.

OFF-TOPIC NOTE: I've set up a thread in the non-spoiler board for talking about this. So please pick up the discussion there: Is Sarah the protagonist?

I think the re-design of the blog has absolutely ZERO to do with who's going to die.
Face it, Summer Glau is fifty percent of the show and that image of her in the leather cat outfit is just dynamite. That's all it is.
I've also commented over in the protagonist thread that it's fairly clear who are the protagonists in this show - it's precisely Sarah, John and Cameron.
However, just to throw out a comment from Thomas Dekker, note that he said that if they get a third season, as a result of the back nine, it will look like "an all-new show".
Well, one way to do that is to dump Sarah except for VO's and flashbacks, and let John and Cameron take over the fight.
While nobody would like that, what if Lena Headey's been offered a huge project and has contracted to take it with the producer's permission? So she can't pull the same sixteen-hour days for months on end like she has. One way to work around that would be to have her much less of a character on the show.
I really don't see it happening, however. In my view, either Ellison or Weaver gets knocked off. And Ellison is more of a major character than Weaver is at this point. And they need Weaver around after she or somebody (a reanimated Cromartie via John Heny?) kills Ellison, so they have a ready made villain for the third season (although the promo says there is a "new enemy").
And Garrett said in that video interview that he has a big fight coming up - which probably means a battle with either Weaver or Cameron. It would be interesting if John Henry rebels against Weaver as a result of Ellison's teachings, and Weaver has to destroy him. That would be a twist.

Mike Ausiello has chimed in:
"Question: You sir, are a cruel, cruel man! You left the Sarah Connor Chronicles fans totally hanging with your "DEATH OF A MAJOR CHARACTER" tease. Couldn't you give us just a little more? -- Melinda Ausiello: Okay, here are three hints: The character is female, she has close ties to John, and she's an out and proud Aushole (and I have video evidence confirming as much)."

I don't follow Ausiello much but I think I've read Leven Rambin being quoted there a couple times. So I'm going with Riley being the one *breathes*

But Leven was not on the Comicon panel...

But Leven was not on the Comicon panel... I wouldn't put too much weight behind the panel theory. Josh didn't seem to in the last podcast. Riley would seem a logical choice. I can't see where they can go with her character when she has an ulterior motive for playing with John (so he's not really going to trust her again and she doesn't seem to have any genuine feelings for him), she's already suicidal and she doesn't have a mission outside of Jesse's game. Her other role was to allow the scriptwriters to drive a wedge between Sarah and John and hopefully we're moving past that. I could see her fessing up, helping to take out Jesse and dying heroically because she's not an all-out ebil character.

But Leven was not on the Comicon panel... I expect there will be more than one death before the season is over, including someone from the panel. That said, Cromartie did "die" when Sarah pulverized his chip.

That said, Cromartie did "die" when Sarah pulverized his chip. And yet Dillahunt recently said that He was going to be unhooked form The Turk...and ellison would have to track him down. Not only that he would also get in a knock down fight. This of course leads more credence to the Triple Chip theory.

But Leven was not on the Comicon panel... I don't care if she wasn't at Comic-Con.. this character death wasn't a for sure deal at Comic-Con since they didn't know if they'd get the back 9 anyway. Cromartie was the original death but since they got the back 9 they can say "Oh we didn't mean him!" But they originally did. Anyway.. yeah, I think she is the major character death.

John Henry wandering around doesn't make Cromartie less dead. All that spoiler implies is that Weaver figures out a way to load John Henry/The Turk onto a chip and interface that with Cromartie's endo.
The idea that there are contemporary chips able to run a Turk/John Henry level AI has already turned up in "Strange Things..."

Yes but how likely is it that that chip...this modern chip, will be compatible with John Henry. Oh and there's no way that they're going to Put John Henry or the Turk into one chip. Even should it get seriously smarter. Also I'm guessing it's Riley also...the question is how and by whom.
