"Alpine Fields," which once upon a time was to be episode seven, is going to air in the number 12 slot now. The airing order as of now is "One Two," "Self Made Man," "Alpine," and "Earthlings Welcome Here."

What irks me about adjusting the airing order is that it implies that the overall story arc isn't being carried along very quickly over the next episodes up to episode 13 - at least for two episodes.
What was the reason for adjusting the order, Zack, if you can say without revealing any secrets?

What was the reason for adjusting the order, Zack, if you can say without revealing any secrets? I don't think people will mind the story arc shifting between low and high gears-- I think the Terminator universe is sufficiently robust and interesting to allow exploration of it via more self-contained episodes as well as the ones that push the big story forward in major steps. As for the reasons for the changes, some of it was due to our strange production schedule and some of it was due to creative changes made to one of the episodes after principal photography wrapped that necessitated pushing it back in the airing schedule-- both quite common occurences in the TV world. We'll probably wait until the episode in question airs before telling the whole story behind the changes, because people should be able to watch all of the episodes fresh before getting the behind the scenes info about them.

I think the three dots are three CPUs that work together as a neural network and are better than the original Terminator chip. It can absorb human minds and turn human minds into Terminator bodies.
I think we will see a need breed of terminator like the T-1000 series as silver and liquid but more advanced and smarter. They grow quick like the cactus and they are nurtured and helped like the turtle. Sarah's dreams are warnings from the futue and those three dots are important to create and invent Terminators.
Just like Superman's Brainiac had three dots, so too now do the Terminators.

Cyberdyne's logo was a triangle separated into three sections.

Perhaps the "three dots" are the three aspects of three Terminators needed to create Skynet - Weaver, Cromartie and Cameron - or perhaps Weaver, Cameron and "The Turk".
I think it's pretty clear that neither Weaver nor Weaver with Cromartie's body can create Skynet. They're going to need Cameron's chip - or perhaps this new "supercomputer on a chip" that will be introduced.
Cameron kept Vic's chip for a reason. And it might have something to do with John's remark in season one about the "Singularity" (which definition was wrong by the way) - Cameron displayed an interest in the notion of AI's increasing their intelligence without human help.
We also don't know what Cromartie did with the Ellison Terminator - or its chip.
If I were Cameron - or Cromartie - I'd be looking for a way to "back up" my chip in case something happened to the original. It wouldn't be true immortality, but it would be the next best thing.
I have a suspicion that what may come down is Weaver capturing Cameron - with Ellison's help - and possibly inserting Cameron's chip into Cromartie's body and using that to channel "The Turk" into becoming Skynet somehow.

That's just way too cryptic to be useful to the Connors.

But Cromartie won't look near as good in short shorts and leather jacket... ;D Aw, c'mon, someone had to say it...

Not to mention Camerons Chip is different from Cromarties. The odds are it wouldn't even fit in Cromartie.
I don't think the Terminator chips made for differing units can just be switched out.
But I could be wrong.

I googled Alpine Fields and I got an oil-drilling operation in Alaska. It would SOO awesome to see the crew go to Alaska!!! There's also an Alpine, CA by Sacramento...
