Fox has acting been really weird lately. Just look at what happened to "Til Death." It has had low ratings, troubles with scripts, cast replacements, it's been on hiatus for half a year now, and it's about 2 and half more seasons away from getting a good syndication deal. Yet, somehow it was still renewed for a full season.

We need to sit tight and wait for Fox to make the announcement to be positive.

And get those letters and emails sent in to both Fox AND WB. WB is more important in a lot of ways - if they're aware that fans LOVE the series - they could look into getting it moved to another network if Fox does ax it.

There have been so many false rumors about cancellation that I'm not believing anything until we get an official word from Fox.

This will be the third time Ausiello's reported "insider info" about TSCC's cancellation. Even if he's right, he'll still be 1 for 3. A broken clock could write his blog and hit a better average.

On the wiki, it is said that (co-producer) Ashley Miller had much the same comment on the Ausiello rumours (that he's been wrong twice). The writers apparently still hope for a renewal.

Believe it or not, because of Fox's response to Ausiello's rumors, I think the show has a good chance of coming back. Fox is holding on a decision until May18( the up fronts) because they want to put as much pressure on WB as possible, to get a better deal. The closer we get to Terminator Salvation, the more antsier WB will be about T:SCC's cancellation. They don't want the egg on their face. Fox is hoping, WB will cave in at the negation table, and give them a really sweet deal. All these cancellation rumors, are leaked on purpose by Fox for bargaining purposes. Sports teams and agents purposely leak trade rumors to the press all the time. It's how deals get done.
Update: EPIC FAIL! Ausiello's sources are the same as Lanie Grace's sources. I feel so much better. FU A-hole. He's thriving off our passionate fandom.
What Ausiello source's said. Everyone has pretty much known for a couple of weeks." Adds a network insider: "Consider it canceled."
Lanie Grace source: " everyone around there had known that for a few weeks already. It was fairly common knowledge at WB."
Want more conformation about the similarities between Ausiello's sources, and Lanie's?
Ashley Miller's Tweet: "Time for Ausiello's semi-annual SCC termination report. False again. (Remember "sets were destroyed" report? Now you know context, people."
How much credibility does Auisello have left, if plagerizing Lanie Grace's blog counts as his "sources"?

There's also an interview with Brian Austin Green at: www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=20811- he stated that the final episode of season 2 is always meant to be a season finale, no intentions of being a series finale. - nobody's heard anything positive or negative on season 3 yet. - Josh Friedman and John Worth sat down and talked to him about his character's death in the penultimate episode of season 2, but reveals the character lives on in the final episode. Both already have plans for how season 3 will be structured. - for Brian's pilot for Body Politic, his character will have to be recast if TSCC receives a 3rd season, as that is the top priority show. Excellent read btw.

I agree with the notion that these "rumors" are most likely to keep pressure on Warner Bros. in their negotiations with Fox. I really hope that they can come to a good agreement though. My ideal scenario would be that Warner Bros. agrees to give Fox a good rate on the episodes, and sell reruns to cable channels like Scifi and ABC Family for cheap to air during the summer so they can build up the show's audience. Then, in return, Fox agrees to give the show a better time slot, possibly even pairing it with American Idol on Tuesdays at 9:00. The show is getting AMAZING amounts of praise from critics and viewers alike, so the only problem that's holding it back is that there aren't enough people who have been made familiar with it. Introducing and reintroducing people to the show through cable reruns would be an ideal route to go IMO. At the TSCC Wetpaint site, we've been doing a Digg campaign to create awareness of the Ausellio article in hopes of getting a response from Fox or Warner Bros, and it's going quite well. We were on Digg's front page yesterday, and we're still in the top 10 entertainment articles today. The comments in the digg have all been very supportive of the show, and I think it's safe to say that the amount of diggs it's getting is evident of how fearful people are of cancelation. digg.com/television/FOX_ready_to_terminate_Sarah_Connor_Chronicles
